Literally the best experience I’ve ever had at an Outback!! The hostess was super friendly & then Shelby the bartender waited on us and she slayed it!! The food was cooked to perfection SHOUTOUT TO THE KITCHEN STAFF (we recently visited hilltop and I thought that was a great visit but after being at red mill today MIND BLOWN!!!) The food was perfection the service impeccable…a manager even stopped by our table and checked on us! Shelby recommended the perfect drinks and apps we took some of everything she suggested!!! This will be our new date place for sure!!! Ty Outback after all these years you just keep getting better!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

My server had 6 tables. Big mistake. Pecan salad was delicious. My hamburger was undercooked on 1/3 and soggy on the bottom bun. The Prime Rib was over 50 percent fat and was cooked medium rare. Sent back the strip steak twice for medium well. It’s still medium, I didn’t have the patience to send back again. Great taste though. I had to remind the waitress 4 times to get the cheesecake from the trio menu. Finally, I told the waitress we needed to leave. I actually got my ticket 8 minutes later. She brought me the cheesecake as we got up to leave. I did ask the owner about a meat thermometer for his meat cook. Seriously. It’s not hard to cook steak. Please start. Unfortunately, I won’t be back, even if it’s Free. Oh, the hostess sat us at a booth that was visibly dirty, we moved on our own. Bad start, Bad finish. The waitress was pleasant but forgetful. She couldn’t handle us sending back the meat to be cooked more. She kinda abandoned our table. She knew she had no tip coming. To her surprise, I gave her a $10 bill, but I recommend only 3 tables maximum for her. $66 for 2 people. Waisted money for a terrible experience with my son.

This place used to be the best outback, always packed, great service and the best food. But now? Its awful. Super slow service, takes forever to get your food even though its empty! The steak had a CRUST on it. Burned outer crust! It didnt even taste like it had the right seasoning. And they charge you for a full bloomin onion when you order a side of peddles. The manager claimed its because they just cut it for you but its a SMALL PORTION THEY GIVE YOU AND TRY TO CHARGE FULL PRICE!! The waitress was nice but its a shame her manager isnt good and the place puts the redmill area to shame. The Kempsville location is the way to go. They have runners, a smooth service, food comes out quick and hot and the manager checks on everyone AND is quick and kind to fix any mistakes. Go there instead.

My first time at Outback Steakhouse. I treated my niece to a birthday dinner. Our host was Gregory. He was polite and patient. We had the 3 course meal. We chose steak as the entrée. The steak was a little thick and tough. The crew sung Happy Birthday to my niece which was nice.

Stop going to this Outback iver 10 years ago because the service was crap. The wife was starving and she talked me into stopping there because all the good restaurants were either busy or closed for winter hours. 10 years later service is still crap she got her food. 16 minutes later my food still had not arrived told them to cancel the order and bring my check and miraculously they walked out with the food, told them to keep it I don’t want “found” that put me 20 minutes behind already and of course they don’t give a crap because they’re working for Outback. There’s a Wendy’s next door I would recommend them over this absolute waste of space.

Ordered online. Food tasted great but didn’t receive the extra items we requested, like the garlic butter, the mushrooms for the steak, the salad dressing. Asked for loaded baked potato and only got sour cream. Nothing major but paid extra and didn’t receive and didn’t notice until I got home.

Everything was great until the end. I ate half of my desert, and got up to use the bathroom. I left my cloak to indicate that I was returning. When I came back my desert and drink were gone. My cloak was not there. I asked the girl where my cloak was and she pointed to the front of the restaurant. No apology or anything.

Really enjoyed it here. Every section is very spaced out for covid so it’s not crowded at all. Staff was so friendly from start to finish. The bone in prime rib was the best I’ve had at any outback. Perfectly juicy & big enough to feed 2 people. The baked sweet potato was so soft, not under or over cooked. The ribs fell right off the bones. Of course cant come here & not get the blooming onion! The cheesecake just melts at 1st bite. Soup wasn’t watered down. Everything was just perfect. We were SO happy here! Gladly coming back & would recommend this location to anyone!

Wendy was our amazing server tonight!! It is such a pleasure to have a waitress with personality and who connects to the customers. She was professional, funny and very service oriented. We will be back!
