This place is truly a staple of modern dining in America, despite its misleading Australian name. We came on a snowy winters day in bleak February for a business rundown of a recent convention in Raleigh. The Memo: Using a drum as a vessel for your water. The business was intense and the bread was intenser. After our discussion we ordered our steak and drinks and waited. The drink I had was a pink lemonade that was quite good. We were delivered our steak in record time. I enjoyed it and thought the pairing with French fries and asparagus was better than anticipated. We were clueless as to why. As Daniel Craig said, the mystery is like “A donut hole in a Donut’s hole. But we must look a little closer. And when we do, we see the donut hole has a hole in it’s center – it is not a donut hole, but a smaller donut with its own hole, and our donut is not hole at all!” My final message to anyone reading this is that if you want to have a pleasent business meeting with steak, Outback is the place to do it.

My husband got a horrible cut of steak, he couldn’t hardly chew it and trust me, he can put away steak. The manager didn’t want to give us a table as he was expecting a large party over 2 hours later. (We overheard them discussing the party. It was scheduled at 730p, we arrived between 5-530). My husband has a disability to where he cannot manage sitting in a booth. They had items listed as NEW! in the menu but we were told the items were discontinued. We were not provided with silverware until well after the food had arrived and we couldn’t get the attention of any wait staff to bring it to us. There were only 2 or 3 other tables with customers in our section so I guess they didn’t need to staff it. My order was lukewarm when we finally got silverware. The manager that night was sloppy in appearance, his wait staff were dressed nicer than him. We will not be going back.

My son and I had an unfortunate experience with this Outback BUT the manager HERSELF drove a new order to my house to replace our old order. She was very apologetic, understanding and could not have been more professional and nice. Thank you so much! THIS is how every restaurant manager should be! I hope the owner of this location sees this because this woman, without a doubt, deserves a raise or at least some special recognition! Thank you again for being great at your job!

Our server Amanda was efficient, almost robotic like. She was able to process all of our drink orders as well as dinner items into her tablet. It seemed to take a good amount of time, But everything came out accurately as ordered. Caesar salad is getting smaller every time I go there. It’s not just this location it’s every Outback. The steak was cooked perfectly although there was a lot of gristle and fat on it It was still a good cut of meat. The baked potato was excellent loaded with all the goodies.

We recently recently visited outback steakhouse to celebrate my youngest son‘s 36th birthday. We were all in a celebratory mood and looking forward to a great dining experience..while my family was generally satisfied with their food. My experience was quite different. I ordered the lobster tail, expecting a tender inflating for meal unfortunately, the meat was so tough that I couldn’t enjoy it at all. I ended up leaving the entire meal on my plate. This was quite disappointing, especially given the occasion given this experience, I don’t see myself returning to outback steakhouse I hope this feedback is helpful and can improve the future

The server was excellent. The food was okay, but that Blooming onion was not good. It was too soak with grease and when I said something, they said that’s how they cook it. It was too greasy. We couldn’t eat it.

Had to wait for them to “clear” a table.
Food was excellent.
Service not very friendly. Sad actually, like she didn’t want to be there. I used to serve so I couldn’t not tip her, but 20% was really stretching it.
Grease spots all over cardboard menu additions. Yuk !

Out to lunch with my aunt and stoped by due to our love for their mushrooms. We we both disappointed especially since they were very salty. Our server took them back and bought out some fresh ones which were cooked in another batter and they too were not tasty therefore we decided to just have them removed from our meal. I ordered the shrimp on the Barbie with a vegetable on the side. My bread was burnt so bad I couldn’t eat it nor could I believe it was actually served in this manner. Shrimp were very well season and I enjoyed my shrimp. My aunt had a salad a a steak which she said was not seasoned well at all. Our first time eating at this particular Outback restaurant and most likely our last. I will say our server was good she just needed to look at what she was bringing out to the table to ensure that the food was presentable.

Was there at 2pm., today ordered the 3 course meal special but did not get the dessert. Did not realize it until I left. The waitress should have remembered.
