Had to get the Dave’s Way beef cheese steak combo – chopped steak, onions, sweet peppers, banana peppers, mushrooms, and white American, provolone, and cheese wiz. “Classic” size was $18.99 for just the sandwich +$4 to make it a combo with seasoned fries & a drink.
The meal came out piping hot and fresh! Was definitely appreciated on a chilly night. Fries were great with the seasoning and the sando was up to par, but felt like it was missing that x-factor. The bread wasn’t butterflied and toasted, chopped steak didn’t have sear or carmelizing, and there wasn’t much of a cheese display despite entailing 3 cheeses…
The meal was sufficient but a little steep for $19 ($23 for the meal). I’d recommend their cheesesteak sandwich if you’re in the area, but nothing to drive out of your way for.

Office lunch, we wanted to order from a new place. I would have given 5 stars but some of my colleagues were upset. We ordered all different drinks. On arrival, the young lady handed us all bottle waters and told us to tell someone else if there was a problem. Red flag. No one came back to help us change out the drinks for what we actually ordered. We were given our food by the same young lady so we did not get assistance.

So we now understand what the HYPE was about (people were standing in long lines at grand opening 6 months ago). The Chicken Philly 9 inch, Beef Philly 9 inch were seasoned generously, bread fresh and soft, cheese oozing with each bite just something different to indulge in if you know how A Real Philly should taste. We will be back. Easy in and out clean atmosphere. lemonade was nice combo.

The food here is a knockout!!!! Extremely delicious. I got a Big Dave’s Cheesesteak, regular size, some amazing crinkle fries and a lemonade. I also went back for some banana pudding – I don’t do sweats much, so wasn’t a fan also was a fan. But that you’ll have to decide for yourself, plus it was expensive for the banana pudding – unlike for the food.
The cheesesteak was amazing, the bun was good and delicious too. I really loved it all, and a hearty portion.
If you’re going to eat inside, be sure to know the music is louder than it should be and annoying. But the staff were all friendly and smiling at the register.
If I go back to Columbia I will certainly go eat there again!

While passing through Columbia County, my party of three decided to stop for lunch at Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks — and I am so glad we did! We ordered “The 18” Big Dave’s Way Beef Cheesesteak hero, the Fried Chicken Cheesesteak, Beef Philly Fries, Chicken Philly Fries, and the Banana Pudding.
The sandwiches were absolutely delicious — juicy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. The sweet peppers were such a pleasant touch, adding a burst of flavor to every single bite. The Philly Fries (both beef and chicken) were rich, savory, and incredibly satisfying. To top it off, the Banana Pudding was the perfect sweet ending to an already amazing meal.
Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was just as memorable. The older gentleman at the register was an absolute pleasure — warm, friendly, and full of positive energy. He made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in.

I visited Big Dave’s Cheesecake for the first time and ordered the 9” Classic Beef Dave’s Way. It was absolutely delicious definitely a 10/10! I want to give a huge shout-out to the cook, Jessica, for preparing such an amazing sandwich. The manager, Key, ensured everything was perfect and that I was happy with my order which I absolutely was. Will, who served as both the cook and cashier, took the time to walk me through the menu and helped me choose the best sandwich. He was an excellent salesperson and made the experience even better.
The entire team was incredibly personable and welcoming, making me want to come back. This was a great experience please give this crew a raise! Thanks again!

First-time customer review: get there early. It’s a small space with table and counter seating. Since we were there for the 1st time, a nice man explained the menu and different sandwiches. Food was hot and made-to-order. Best part: my husband forgot to choose the cheese for his sandwich. They asked before it was made. Happy customers We’ll be back soon!
