The bread was given by a 13 year old, “just passing by”, no plate and 1/4 nothing of butter. I ordered a Ceasar Salad that i had to remind them of so it wasn’t served with my hot food. My entrée was served like a 10 yard pass, before I could ask her for steak sauce, she was gone. I ordered medium sirloin, got medium rare. Sent back, still half of it cooked medium rare. The mac and cheese with lobster was adequate. Not a good experience. Restaurants like this don’t appreciate a single guest, if you’re not sitting at the bar drinking.

Wow…really surprised. So I finally succumbed to the lure of the bloomin’ onion! Took my son here for his birthday. I regret it now. The waiter came up to us asking for an appetizer order literally before we could open up our menus (I saw him do this to his other tables too and they said the same thing I did – that we haven’t even looked at the menus yet). The steak prices were high I felt. But it was a ‘special’ occasion. The bloomin onion came and you can see from the photo that it was dripping in grease. We couldn’t get 1/2 way thru it. I mentioned it to the waiter and his only response was: yeah, they can be oily. Gee, thanks. My steak and (cold, with a dry film on top) mashed potatoes came attractively plated as you can see and overcooked. My son’s steak (under the ‘seared’ group) was not really seared and for the price, really, really thin.

Stopped in for an early dinner today and was amazed by the service I got. Cheryl was my server and she was excellent. Another server Amber chatted with me also. Both of them were very friendly. The manager Becky checked on me to make sure I was enjoying my meal. She was very friendly as well, best Manager in the building definitely. I look forward to dining here again. Hope Becky is working next time I stop in.

Prime rib was meh, nothing special. Definitely wasn’t seared and a ton of fat on it. This was a typical Outback experience, nothing special and you know what you’re getting.

Worst Outback I have been to. We normally go to the one in North Haven but wanted a change of scenery. Big mistake. You could tell from the start that our waitress didn’t want to be there, but tried to put on a smile.

I got the onion soup which came out hot and flavorful. The quarter house had good flavor but a fourth of it was fat. The prime rib (medium) was very juicy as well. I would have wanted the fries seasoned more, but my brother liked them. Overall nice experience but a little pricey. Sheryl was a nice server!

Went for dinner, it was packed! Was able to sit at the bar. The bartender was great. Fantastic specialty cocktails. Try the blueberry lavender mixed drink. The food was good, as usual. I love the free bread!

The last time I visited Outback Steakhouse was in 1999 when my son graduated High School. It was the Buckland Hills location. I didn’t have a good experience and have never been back. My granddaughter picked this for her birthday, Sweet 15…lol. It wasn’t busy for a Sunday around 5:30 pm so the food came out in a decent amount of time, but it wasn’t good for me. There were 9 of us and the conscience was, It’s ok. The waitress was Top Notch and we had a few hiccups, but nothing major.
