Our first time here was soon after it opened, and we weren’t super impressed. We tried again today and we’re pleasently surprised!

I got the Weld Breakfast (eggs, bacon, bread, and potatoes. A basic breakfast). My husband got the salmon Benny. I got a seasonal pumpkin spice latte, hot. All the food was very good! Flavorful, hot, and delicious. The jam was a strawberry preserve with Huge chunks of strawberry, so good! The coffee was very tasty as well.

The service was very good. The hostess was nice. She offered us a place as the bar if we didn’t want to wait for a table. We opted for a table. We waited for about 15-20 min, what she’d said. The table was a little rickety, which made cutting a little challanging since I was holding the table with my foot the whole time. Sitting against a wall isn’t ideal either. Luckily, I can eat left handed. But our server was super nice and helpful. The food runners were all nice and offered anything we needed.

Great spot for breakfast. And they have a drive through for coffee. I haven’t used it, but, after having the coffee inside, it’s so worth the drive through! Yummy!

A great restaurant! Lots of parking available. The service was top tier. The food was so tasty. Yummy green chile. Beverages! So many to choose from. Excellent chai flavors available; my favorite was the gingerbread chai.

My daughter and I had breakfast on Wednesday, my daughter ordered the the Salmon Avocado Croissant with Potatoes and I ordered the half order of Avocado Toast and add Salmon. We both really enjoyed our breakfast and service was really great. Definitely will be back. Also we ordered coffees too, both were delicious

This is one of our favorite places to eat as a family. They’ve always been really accommodating & kind to us & our babies; which makes eating in a restaurant so enjoyable! Jess is one of their kindest, most helpful staff who always brightens our day & makes sure we have everything we need. Big fan of Blue Mug & Jess! God bless! 🙂

This establishment is a great place to spend a meal with family. Alongside a wonderful staff, the portions were hearty and so was the overall food choices. The food was prepared quickly but with an obvious amount of care. Coffee was prepared in a masterful way, creamy and subtle in flavor. I was lucky enough to meet the owner, who was kind and very friendly. The overall service and environment is one of the reasons I love going to smaller local restaurants.

Have been going to Blue Mug for years for my sugar free Chai, but today was my first visit to Out of the Blue. My breakfast burrito had the most incredible flavor and my Granddaughter loved her Bennie & Earl Grey. The young lady who cared for us was very knowledgeable, personable and professional. This will definitely be a regular stop!

Just came back from brunch at Out of the Blue; my daughter had visited several months ago and said it was very good so we decided to try it.
When we came in we noticed something about a senior menu, but didn’t get a chance to ask as the waitress seated us almost immediately (which was nice), but when I sat down the sun was full-on in my eyes, so we moved a couple of seats over, which she said was fine. Although we are (clearly) seniors we were not offered the senior menu so had to ask. The items on the senior menu were only about a dollar less than the regular menu and had a limited offering, so we both ended up ordering the Weld County Classic…….three eggs, choice of bread and meat, with their house potatoes.
The eggs were just as ordered…..very good; we both ordered bacon (got 2 strips) and it was so crisp that it actually broke when I set a piece back on my plate. My husband had sourdough toast (one slice) and I had a misshapen English muffin. The breads were not buttered but they gave a cold pat of butter to the customer to put on if they wished…it was way too hard to spread. The jam was put into a small metal cup, but was maybe a tablespoon in the bottom. The potatoes had some large chunks in them with most of the rest just being mushy………..or burned pieces…..with no flavor.

My meal was served on a chipped plate.

The waitress was friendly and attentive, but the food definitely needs improvement. Hopefully the owner/manager reads this and makes some serious changes. If I served my family this quality of food they would think I had lost my touch in the kitchen. We briefly considered Village Inn this morning, but decided to give this place a try. Two breakfasts, no drinks…..$28.78…….not worth it.

Not my fav, I have celiac and I got the Salmon Benny on a gluten free english muffin and it was aight but not amazing. Props for having gluten free options at all, though! The gluten free pancake was pretty good. My husband got the ultimate breakfast burrito and he said he was also underwhelmed. Portions were kinda small. The check was sixty-something bucks at the end of it all. I wouldn’t care so much if it weren’t so expensive, but it felt like a lot for a little.

Nice servers though!

Cute place! Nice interior decorating and cute patio outside, as well. The menu was inviting and had a lot of good choices! The servers were friendly and informative. They only reason I can’t give it five stars is that my breakfast was not hot when it came out. I had the Biscuits and Gravy Benedict, which is basically biscuits and gravy with eggs on top of sausage and biscuits, underneath the gravy. I just had my server take it back and microwave it for 30 seconds. It was fine after that.
The reviews I read said they had fantastic coffee. I tried their drip coffee and it was very average. I had my server add a shot of espresso which made it taste better in my opinion. I do like strong coffee! I tried the savory side of the menu today, but I will definitely go back for the sweet side. There are some tasty looking items on that side of the menu that I would like to try!
AND… This place changes into a cocktail bar at 4:00. How cool is that?! If I didn’t live in Fort Collins, I would definitely go back for cocktails at night!

Me and my mom walked in, there was only 1 waitress so we were expecting a small wait to be seated. I made eye contact with the server who was chatting with a customer, nothing unusual. About 5 minutes passed, and I decided to use the restroom, assuming that my mom would be seated and I would find her after. I came out of the bathroom, and my mom was still waiting. So we waited some more. About 10 minutes in, and still no acknowledgement from the server, who I had made (ackward) eye contact with several times. I understand wanting to please your customers and even chatting to a friend, but it is not hard to tell a customer “let me get these guys checked in, I’ll be right back” or even telling us to wait just a bit before we get seated. I work in customer service so I understand how difficult juggling customers can be, however waiting 10 minutes to not even be acknowledged because the waitress is talking is extremely unprofessional. Anyways me and my mom went to Cheba Hut where there was excellent customer service and delicious food, just in case someone reading this is experiencing the same thing
