Met friends for a midweek lunch. We started with loaded cheese fries. Mighty tasty. I heard a lot about this place and was looking forward to trying a burger. I ordered the BBQ. It was thick and juicy and piled high with crispy onion rings. Fries were perfect. Everyone at our table enjoyed their burgers, too. Elise was the staff member who gave us excellent attention while we ate and lingered to visit for a while. I’ll go back.

Usually, I come here on a monthly basis. First, Our Mom’s has some of the best burgers in Baton Rouge, and I still recommend it to anyone who wants a burger. Unfortunately, I noticed less effort has been put into their onion jam burger recently. Yesterday, I ordered an onion jam burger but received very few onions, where the taste of it was negligible in the burger. Addtionally, the onions, almost raw, were barely caramelized. Onion jam is supposed to be a dark, rich brown with jam-like consistency. I addressed the issue to my waiter, and he showed it to the chef, but the chef claimed it was onion jam. It was not. Overall, Our Mom’s is still a great burger spot, but I wished quality was consistent in all their burgers.

This is a nice little place with good food. Just happened upon it. Hard to get to (my GPS couldn’t seem to determine what side of the road it was on.). Seems to be a “local” place. The burger was great. That sourdough bun!!!! Rhe “seasoned” fries were just plain frozen fries. Drinks were unique and good. Service was ok. I would visit again.

Friends dinner out. Cheese fries to start, and they are very good. Everyone had the burgers, and they were all well pleased. Mine was the original with added onions and pickles. Excellent flavors and texture. I would gladly eat there again.

Recommended by our Uber driver as a local dining experience. We ate at the bar & it was very laid back with lovely staff, I had the Mac ‘n’ Cheese burger & colleague had Surf n Turf with debris fries starter. Both agreed they were great (but super filling) burgers.

Out of towers, first time eating here. Food and service was absolutely amazing! We had the Fried Pickle Burger, Fried Shrimp Poboy, and the Rocken Chicken sandwich. All very delicious and highly recommended. Tofer our waiter, he was very nice and gave us great recommendations. 5☆ would return.

I am basing this view off of dozens of visits to this place. The food is fine, but not amazing. The biggest drawback is that it’s essentially a preschool for restaurant servers; no one I’ve been served by seems to act like they have been waiting tables for more than 3 months. Undertrained staff with I can only assume detached ownership makes this place frustrating. I really wish I could give a higher score, but the number of order mistakes and/or meals taking 40+ minutes with a slow dining room FAR out-numbers the times things went fine, let alone great. Hope they can figure this out, but I wouldn’t waste your time on it.

The chef Dee, is the most excellent human being I have ever had the pleasure to interact with. The exquisite taste of my burger was still juicy and tender while still having a nice crisp crust. The wings were so fresh and tender that I could have sworn they slaughtered the chicken in the back themselves. The atmosphere was quaint and elegant, the tables are as shiny and free of grime as Mr. Cleans head. Respectable and kind servers are attentive and fed my boyfriends insane water addiction. This is what true a fine dining experience should look like. 10/10.
