Yum!! First time here a few weeks ago and have brought family since! Food is delicious and beyond worth the wait! This fun, historical diner cooks delicious food that isn’t greasy like so many other diners. When you arrive, please read the board stating to wait outside for them to get you on the list. Definitely worth the wait.

Just arrived back in the United States and I needed a good breakfast so I headed over to Our Kitchen. Ordered the kitchen special: two eggs, hash browns, sausage, blueberry pancake, and coffee. Everything was solid, but nothing was mind blowing. Service and the atmosphere were great. I loved the diner feel and it was nice to sit at the counter.

Ohhhh what an incredible breakfast!! Pancakes were among the best I have had!!! Blueberry and cooked to perfection not doughy or over cooked just the perfect texture! Ham had just the perfect char to give it that deep pork taste yet moist and tender!! Everything cooked to order! Not a sham bam here is your food spot Quality takes time so relax and wait for an incredible meal!!! Cook and staff were friendly and efficient!!! Hard pressed to find a better spot anywhere anytime anyplace !!!

BACKSTORY: Years ago as a small child (2nd Grade) – went to school with a young lad named “Danny”. It was a very short lived friendship. At the end of that school year his family moved away. The following year my family moved and a whole new life began for me as well. I would reminisce from time to time and one in a great while Danny popped up in my mind. I always wondered whatever happened to him. Fast forward 40+ years later (and the internet) and Danny popped into my head again. I thought “I wonder if the internet had anything to share. One internet search later and I was reading articles & reviews about Danny and Our Kitchen. I vowed one day I was going visit Our Kitchen.

We came here on a Saturday and the place was packed. They don’t have a lot of seats available, so we had to wait a bit. They don’t take reservations.

Our Kitchen is so cute! A small cozy diner with service so friendly and food so good it’s no wonder it seems to be all regulars dining there. The hashbrowns and pancakes are unreasonably good, and a regular divulged the special off-menu items and which days of the week to get them (corned beef hash, eggs benedict). It’s such a joy to watch the cook, Danny, work on the small flat top and a few burners effortlessly produce plate after plate of astonishingly delicious diner classics

Absolutely the best “home cooked” breakfast or lunch you will find outside of your own home. And that’s only if you own home has someone as special as Danny making the food!

Food was really good. I had the cheese and sausage omelet with hash browns & pancakes. Hash browns were good, but not my cup of tea – I like mine more crispy – they are kind of a cross between a hash brown and an american fry. Omelets are more fluffy like what I make at home with big hunks of meat.
