I decided to take my husband out to breakfast a day after his birthday to this restaurant because a lady was bragging on it. She said the food was good and she eats there ALL the time. The place looked very outdated but we went in anyways. We asked some young men how was the food and they said delicious. So, we ordered our food. The bacon was VERY HARD, the omelet was TOO WET from the eggs, the orange juice glass was DIRTY but the WORSE part was THE ROACHES CRAWLING ON THE WALL while eating. NEVER AGAIN

This was a great stop for breakfast! They have good home cooking such as omelettes and pancakes of course! They have waffles too which looked great. Lots of nest photos on the walls. A little dusty but it adds charm.

In town for a day and decided to stop in for breakfast. I was overly excited and looking forward to this meal. I ordered pancakes, eggs, grits and sausage. We got there a little after they opened, around 7:30. The grits were undercooked and the pancakes were near burned. I only ate half a pancake, sausage and eggs. We were really short on time so I didn’t have time to request a new batch.

We had a wonderful visit to Ground Zero, so of course we’re hungry the next late morning. This is a very authentic Southern Breakfast restaurant. Prices are unbelievably a fantastic bargain, so Tip Big! Food quality and choices were as you would expect.

Fabulous mom and pop diner. Breakfast was FAST and the service was wonderful. Very polite and attentive and as a traveler passing through, I felt right at home. Lots of locals come here too and they know their orders by heart – that just has to show you how great their food is. Makes you want to come back for more!

Enjoyed breakfast here while we were in town. The place is on the smaller side and quite dated but that adds to its charm. Lots of historical pictures throughout the building. The food and service were both excellent! Definitely want to stop here if you’re in town.

You will be hard pressed to find a breakfast like this for $8 anywhere. The star of this meal was the pancakes – so fluffy and tasty. I wish I had the opportunity to upgrade to real maple syrup. The grits were also delicious. The restaurant is definitely worn from the wear and tear, however it’s part of the experience of Clarksdale
