This was our first time visiting this establishment and we were so happy we stopped. The breakfast food was delicious. The Sausage Gravy and biscuits were amazing. Bacon and pancakes were delicious too. Not to mention how neat the inside of the restaurant is. And I can’t forget fresh flowers on every single table, and the best service we have had just about anywhere else. We will definitely be back to try the supper menu.

Recently moved back to Louisville and wanted a good meal and I remembered “Our Best”. My wife and I made the drive on Sunday after Raving about past visits, 7 years ago. For a Sunday, we waited only 20 minutes to be seated. All I could remember was the best fried chicken around. We each placed our orders, my wife got the meat loaf, my favorite, the fried chicken. It was busy but not packed our meal took almost 25 minutes to be brought to the table. The fried chicken was hot. My wife’s meat loaf turned out to be cold inside and uncooked. The middle was red like uncooked hamburger. We sent it back immediately. Another piece was brought out but was still undercooked to out liking. She had ordered pinto beans for a side and they were bland and cold. By then the chicken had cooled and I couldn’t wait to dig in. The flavor was as I remembered it, however, the chicken was extremely tough and not fully cooked off the bone.
I have to say I was very disappointed with our meals and won’t be going back, worst meal I’ve had in a long time. I don’t know what changed but a new cook might be a good start. Awful meal at any cost.

The best country food i have had in a very long time; all the food I ordered was delicious!!! Our server, Evelyn, was an absolutely amazing, I will ask for her the next time I go.

Second time here and the chicken was so delicious and freshly cooked. Sue was personable and was so sweet. She made sure we had what we needed even though she had quite a few tables. We will definitely be back when we are in the area as we are from central Indiana.

Do yourself a favor and go eat at this restaurant. We have now had both Breakfast and Lunch here and everything we have ordered was SO delicious, served hot and our waitress Windy is simply amazing. The fried chicken and pork chops are delicious, fried corn bread which is complimentary with your meal is amazing. We also loved the Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and took home a piece of peanut butter pie, delicious. The restaurant is a hidden gem that we wish we had discovered way before now. The management is top notch also. We DEFINITELY will go back again and again.

Top notch home cooked meals that was one of the best meals I have had in recent memory. Kind of like Cracker Barrel but much better. For a restaurant that is several miles from Louisville and in the middle of a small town they must be doing something right. I hear that there are generally waits for lunch and dinner. They have a big parking lot and after eating there I see why.
The roast beef sandwich with homemade gravy was a big hit. The chicken fried beef steak was very good. Lima beans also excellent. The fried cornbread was an excellent addition to the meal. Best sweet tea too.
For dessert we all had cobbler with ice cream. Peach, blackberry and cherry. It was a tasty ending to a perfect meal. If you live in Louisville it is worth the drive to visit here. Our Best has figured out the right formula for success. The presentation of the meal was spot on. The wait staff did not miss a beat. Our visit was very relaxing and I enjoyed the decor. Keep it up you guys! Of course they have had 30 years to work out the kinks, and it shows. I look forward to making my way there for many more meals.

I loveeed my food! This place made me feel so at home! This amazing country food can not be beat. I had the all you can eat bluegill dinner. Fish was fried perfectly, my fried green tomatoes were so yum, beans were seasoned to perfection. One thing that stood out was the CORNBREAD! Probably the best I’ve had way from home. One thing though, it seemed that the wait was a little long, but definitely not something that made the experience bad. The service was GREAT. The employees were as sweet as pie. EAT HERE!

We catered our family Christmas party from Our Best. The food was soooo good. Our children and grandchildren were delighted. The fried chicken and pork chops were a big hit. We had baked apples, corn, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, and greenbeans for sides. There was enough to feed an army ! The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was ready on time and piping hot. Thank you!!
