The egg rolls had an extremely flaky and crunchy exterior while the inside was hot and well balanced.

The sushi was fresh and very well presented. I was very happy with my experience and their pricing.

Can be a hit or miss. It’s a 50/50 chance the food is amazing or a little gross. The first few times coming, we enjoyed the food a lot. It seems quality is dropping a bit. I recommend the spam mitsubi for an appetizer, its made fresh there.

I would stay away from dishes with mayo as it can taste a little overwhelming and they sometimes drench it in mayo (gross). We typically ask them to remove it from the dish upon ordering. They also tend to pack the rolls full of crab meat which we have to take some out, or it overpowers the taste.

Staff is always friendly. Cute restaurant and decor.

Recommend: fresh sushi, baked sushi, spam mitsubi

Note: to the Ai generated reply from the owner, do better.

My fiancé and I are regulars here! We enjoy the bento box with either the teriyaki chicken or bulgogi beef. We also enjoy the salmon rolls and Thai tea.

The prices are amazing and we are usually attended pretty fast depending how busy it is. We often eat in or takeout. I think we’ve been going here for a few years now!

I love this place, there is a gentlemen waiter who is always very nice!

My Favorite Sushi spot in the valley. Always super fresh. Had the BSCR. Been a long time since I had scallops cooked as perfectly as these. Melt in your mouth. Kind of hard to describe what makes this place so special. The flavors are always a notch above all others.

Hands down, one of the best services I’ve ever gotten on top of that the sushi was spectacular. After going to the Getty my sister and I stopped by Ottos for dinner. The place was nearly empty which was good because it’s not that big. We started off by ordering their crispy rice without the salmon (bc I’m a vegetarian), then I got the tempura veggie roll and an avocado roll with a Dr. Pepper. Everything was fresh, crispy, and delicious. It was one of the best tempura veggie rolls I’ve had; it had sweet potato, squash, asparagus, and I believe Yuka root (not sure, lol). The prices were fair and the server went above and beyond for us. Would recommend it, and I would definitely come again. If you’re in the SF Valley, check it out.

A friend of mine recently moved right around the corner from this restaurant.

Overall I rate it 3.5-4.0.
Pros;
1) Service was nice & prompt.
2) Their menu offers a wide variety
3) small but cozy ambiance.

The downside is that it’s pretty pricey for a tiny spot without authenticity, but even worse they don’t serve alcohol. We were told after we placed our food order. Huge disappointment for us.

Im a huge sushi fan..in my entire life..I’ve never had sushi without sake bombs( hot sake with Asian cold beer .)
Sushi is just not the same without sake.

Ordered the spicy garlic edamame and the Gyoza for appetizer. The edamame was not as spicy as I thought it would be, and although it was too salty for me, it was most certainly garlicky, which made it tolerable. The Gyoza was deep fried, which was a disappointment, because Gyoza should be pan fried, and it was veggie, which was not stated on the menu.

Also ordered the salmon sushi and the salmon belly sushi which were both fresh. Then we got the baked crawfish roll which was good, and the baked salmon roll, which looked like it needed a bit more baking done. It was still good though.

I got the beef yaki soba which came with tender beef and perfectly cooked noodles, but alas, it was again too salty for me.

The service was friendly and fast, although the server kept coming back to ask about our order. She didn’t write anything down which makes me think she probably would be better off writing things down.

The place was clean and had a nice decor and ambience. The plaza had ample parking.

Overall it satisfied our sushi craving but I feel there’s better sushi places in the valley that have dishes that are not too salty.

I’ve never had sushi at such a cheap price before! My sister recommended this place, so I came to try it out, and honestly I don’t know how they even make a profit at these prices. Other places charge around $18.99 just for rolls, but here it’s only about $12.
The sushi is fresh, delicious, and such a great deal—I’ll definitely be coming back and ordering more next time.

I’m don’t usually eat sushi but this place has me hooked. I’m curious to try a variety of rolls and so far everything I’ve tried is good. The spicy mayo is good on rolls as well. The customer service was good and the entire process in the restaurant was quick. The only downside is the parking lot, it’s hardly any parking.
