I personally think it’s weird that they don’t put sauce on pizza in a normal way. They just kind of plop it on there in a couple spots. It’s obviously on purpose I’m not saying it’s due to poor effort I just think it’s weird. The gluten free crust itself is good though. Anyway we ate there in person on a weeknight around 5 and had to keep finding the server to help us order, every time we wanted more water (cups are small), and when we wanted to pay. They weren’t rude it was just annoying that they kept disappearing. Parking is around the back.

We keep returning to Otto’s because the ingredients are consistently varied and high-quality. However, the delivery experience has become a gamble. We’ve had orders left on the porch without a knock or bell, and our most recent order arrived on time but completely soggy and “flaccid.” It clearly sat in a box for too long before leaving the kitchen. For a place with such great toppings, the lack of coordination between the kitchen and drivers is a real letdown. I’d love to see them fix this so the crust stays as excellent as the ingredients.

Good pizza, great beer, and family memories—In December alone, we went twice, once for a casual dinner and again to celebrate my sister-in-law successfully defending her doctorate. It’s my in-laws’ favorite spot and the place where we’ve celebrated milestones, family dinners, and plenty of “just because” nights over the years.

This location is spacious with a great team behind the bar and in the kitchen. There’s a solid craft beer selection along with well-made cocktails, making it an easy spot to relax and enjoy a great meal.

My personal favorite pizza is the pulled pork, jalapeño, and pineapple!

I was at Otto Pizza in Newton yesterday, and honestly, the service was amazing. I asked the server if he was the only one working because he was handling so many things at once, and you could tell he was busy but he never stopped smiling and kept the quality of the service super high.

I really love Otto the food, the vibe, and especially the team Alex is the one who’s always taking great care of us, even though he wasn’t there yesterday.

We love having Otto in the neighborhood.
And the fourcheese pizza with pineapple and bacon? That’s our absolute favorite.

I ordered two pizzas to go. On one of them I requested that buffalo cauliflower be added. Got home and opened the pizza boxes and noted that the cauliflower was missing. Suggest you open the boxes and see if you got all the ingredients.

We’d been getting takeout pizza (ricotta and basil) every week from the Lynnfield location for years. It’s the best pizza we’ve ever had–flavorful, crisp crust (reminds me of Bertucci’s rolls), tangy sauce, sharp, delicious cheese. Now Newton is closer so we go there. Lately the pies here have been much smaller. Shrinkflation? It used to creep up the sides of the box; now it slides around in it. If it happens again, we won’t accept it and will ask for a redo. I’d rather pay more to get the size we used to get. The large is now more of a medium. Maybe add an extra-large size?

We have ordered at Otto at least once a month since they opened in Newton. The pizza is consistent and we have our favorites. Today, I ordered online and went to pick up at 6:12 when the order was said to be ready. They said they needed 10 more minutes and again, not ready. When I got my pizza, supposedly right out of the oven, the box wasnt even warm and the pizza was room temp. This was also a first time not tipping for an online order that has no service involved except the assembling and cooking of my $30 pizza so I skipped the tip. Coincidence that it took over twice the time to be ready and was essentially cold? Won’t return.

Love having Otto in Newton! Their flavors are so unique and their sit down service has been great every time we’re there. I hope this location stays around for a long time! I highly recommend their pear, blue cheese, and arugula pizza and the potato, bacon, and scallion (pictured) and their slice counter is a great value for a quick bite! We’ve done both dine in and take out since they’ve been here, and loved it all!

630pm on a Friday night and the place was more than half empty. It took almost an hour for a kids pizza to arrive. It seems as though they forgot about the order. Definitely the worst otto pizza location I’ve been to.

We are happy to see Otto in town! This was a favorite of ours in Exeter. The pizza is good and they have a lot of creative varieties, including a few seasonal specials. We got the buffalo chicken one, and ate the whole thing between the two of us.

Only thing taking away from the experience was all the TVs. It’s definitely distracting when you’re not there for a game day. Maybe they’ll start a trivia night?
