Nice atmosphere. Noisy, but still able to hold a conversation. Reservations recommended. We ordered the fresh-baked bread with butter. It was delicious and the whipped butter was gloriously salty and creamy. That was the best part of the meal.
I ordered the pesto pasta with chicken and my fiancé ordered the bolognese with sausage. Both were edible, but nothing special. My pasta was barely warm and the chicken was overcooked and dry. Same with the sausage.
Service was friendly and fast, though.
There are much better Italian places. Won’t return.

Wow, what a fantastic, authentic Italian restaurant in Corktown. We got the pesto pasta and penne alla arrabbiata and both were so very well done. The pesto was the perfect flavor and great consistency, between that and the delicois bread – fare la scarpetta!

We had a great dinner last night – there was a good amount of people there on a weeknight; regulars hanging out at the bar, groups having dinner, it has a really homey feel. Christmas music was playing for the season and it’s decorated so festively! I want to come back before Christmas just to enjoy the pretty lights and cheerful atmosphere.
Service was excellent and our food was delicious and perfectly cooked. We had the garlic shrimp appetizer which comes with a roasted half of lemon and 4 large slices of buttered toasty bread so sop up all the lemon butter sauce – I will order that every time. It’s awesome and the shrimp were very flavorful and perfectly cooked. We also ordered the Caesar salad which was easy to split between 2 people, and I LOVE the fried soft egg and salty high quality sardine fillets. It was perfectly dressed and just a great Caesar salad. If you added protein, it would make a nice meal. We then each had pastas – hubby had the Arribiata penne with sausage and chicken – it has the best roasted broccolini in it, and was delicious. I had the ragout alla bolognese and everything about it was savory and perfect, topped with ricotta. We both even had enough to take home.
I highly recommend this neighborhood joint that’s cranking out top notch Italian food. We will be back soon.

Late in a Friday night it wasn’t too busy. We ordered the pesto pasta and ragout also bolognese that was very good. The bread service was also good but I’m not sure it’s worth $7
The atmosphere is nice, maybe a little louder than ideal to be able to easily have a conversation but it was lively.

I was introduced to this jewel I believe in 2021 one of my closest friends was a table boy and he invited me to a meal after I picked them up from work. It was a truffle butter pasta with chicken and one with shrimps and with some Italian bread, I was hooked like a crackhead, smoking crack I could eat that meal daily and even to find out that the owner of the business grandmother has a book with all the ingredients in the recipes that they are actually making on a daily basis, The Margheriat Pizza hand down a works for art including a Michigan Ave Manhattan ingredients bulleit bourbon, five -spice Demerara syrup angostura bitter my signature cocktail. A family night owl amazing experience a significant date with a special someone recommend or if you just want some good food to feel loved like you are a part of this family that owns the business. Take a chance try them out..

We got the bread service to start. The bread was nothing special, but the butter was really good. The pesto pasta and alfredo were both delicious, and the cocktail (can’t remember the name) was great too. I’d definitely recommend this place for a nice but affordable dinner, especially for the atmosphere.

Our first time here, we will definitely come back. We had the roasted garlic and goat cheese small plate as an appetizer. My wife had the Bolognese and the handmade noodles just melt in your mouth. I had the bisteca and patate which was done properly, tasty chimichurri, but the steak was a little tough. Our server, Lauren, was the best. Enthusiastic about the menu, attentive, and very friendly.

The service was great (s/o to Steffanie). The food was okay. My mocktail was a little bitter but after a shot of simple syrup I was able to drink it. The pasta was a decent portion. I couldn’t even eat half. I really enjoyed sitting outside as it was a little chilly in the restaurant. I saw my first black squirrel while eating lunch. He even got super close to my foot. I almost left my hot plate .

I thought I was in Detroit, but somehow ended up back in Italy.
We had the goat cheese and bread dish and arancini for apps. As well as Cacio e Pepe and bolognese for the main dish – just wow. The food is truly amazing. I would imagine you could not go wrong with any item on the menu.

We arrived early to our reservation and had a seat at the bar while we waited for our table to be ready. The Jack Sparrow cocktail was perfect for my tastes and had great presentation. When we were seated, we had an extremely friendly and charismatic waiter who made sure we were well taken care of throughout the entire night. Our food was absolutely delicious—we ordered the bread service and a caesar salad to share, and for our entrees we got the pesto pasta and the penne alla arrabbiata. Not a single critique for the food, service, or the environment! We can’t wait to come back!
