I had an incredible experience here and decided this place definitely deserves a full 5-star rating.
The Food:
The star of the show was the Miso Specialty Hot Ramen. The broth had the perfect balance of savory miso and a spicy kick that really warmed me up. The beef was tender, and all the toppings were fresh—it’s easily one of the best bowls of ramen I’ve had recently. We also loved the Takoyaki and the fried chicken; everything was cooked to perfection.
The Service:
What made the night even better was the service. There was only one waitress working the floor when we visited, but she was absolutely incredible. Despite being the only one, she was extremely hardworking, attentive, and maintained a great attitude the whole time. You can really tell she cares about the customers.
Overall:
Great vibes, delicious specialty ramen, and top-tier service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I was facing a bad cold & instead of Pho’ i decided to try out this Ramen place for the first time & they didn’t disappoint, the broth was very hot & flavorful without being super salty. It did the job for me with helping my sinuses & I wouldn’t mind stopping by again, thanks Bryan also.

Have been searching for vegetarian ramen for a while and decided to drive half way across Tampa Bay tonight to try this place. And it did not disappoint! We had the Wagyu Tonkotsu (for the meat eater) and the Nagoya Tonkotsu Vegetarian Lover (for the vegetarian). Both were delicious! Service was fast, helpful and super friendly, the place is very clean and prices are really good. Also enjoyed my first taste of Ramune, a Japanese soda. We will definitely be back!

Update: we did come back! Husband ordered the Pork Chashu Bowl and absolutely loved it. And the veggie ramen was as delicious as I remembered it!

I always have a great experience here! The ramen is rich and well seasoned, and their wings are a must try crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The service is excellent too attentive, friendly, and everything comes out on time. Definitely one of my favorite spots for a satisfying meal.

First time customers and we had a great meal! The atmosphere was great. The restaurant was very clean. The food was EXCELLENT!! And the prices were very fair!

Michelle was our server and we couldn’t be happier. If every server, in every restaurant, was like Michelle, this world would be a happier place.

We now have our go to ramen restaurant in Tampa!

Maybe it’s because it’s on Uber Eats but the build your ramen starts at $11, I paid an extra $4 dollars for the 2 eggs and $3.13 for the singular slice of pork… kind of ridiculous total was $20 for this

This was our first time coming to try the ramen here. We have been trying all the ramen spots in central Florida and beyond and came to this one after reading the great reviews but honestly big disappointment! Our server was great. We ordered guozas to start and they were excellent but the sauce has was not the best aside from that it was a big fail. When you are first seated the booths need to be refurbished as the seats are breaking apart so make sure you wear jeans when visiting. Secondly when they brought us the side plates and the gyozas, the plates were chipped! You could take those out of your stockpile and discard them at this point! Then we ordered the tonkotsu shoyu and the curry ramen. They arrived quickly but the curry ramen did not look so appealing as it had a very yellow unnatural color. The tontosku shoyu ramen was very bland and tastes more like a broth tonkotsu should have a nice milky color not a brownish color. Also the green onion should be like a garnish not so excessive because when you get to the bottom of the broth all you have is a bunch of green onions and broth. Lastly this is the first time in all my ramen experiences that my ramen did not come with nori and I had to order it as a side. I would give this place a 3 out of 10 was not worth the two hour drive at all.

I first tried this Tampa Bay ramen spot over three years ago when there was way less ramen options in the area. Since then, they have only improved in taste, atmosphere, and hospitality.

The shop is super cozy, mostly booths, with some of my favorite Youtubers on the TVs (including Rambalac).

Not many people know that Kyoto and Otsuka ramen, both on Dale Mabry, have the same owner. Once you try both, it’s easy to notice, even though the menu is slightly different. Since most people in Florida are ramen critics, that’s all I’ll say about that.

Japan has many different types of ramen, depending on region and seasonal ingredients. Definitely recommend trying as many different kinds as possible before forming a strong opinion.

They also have a Valrico, FL location.
