⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Sushi Experience – A Place That Feels Like Home

Otori Sushi isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a place where we feel genuinely welcomed, appreciated, and cared for every single time we walk through the door. My family and I visit at least once a week, and somehow, each visit feels just as special as the first.

From the moment we step inside, Kyle is always right there at the front with the biggest smile, greeting us like we’re old friends. His energy, professionalism, and kindness are unmatched. It’s hard not to feel instantly at ease when he’s around. The entire staff—from the servers to the chefs—go above and beyond. They’re attentive without being overbearing, friendly without being forced, and they genuinely care about your experience. It’s rare to find that kind of consistency and heart in a restaurant, but Otori delivers every time.

The sushi? Absolutely outstanding. Always fresh, always flavorful, and plated with precision and beauty. But what truly sets Otori apart is how personal the experience feels. Recently, the chef surprised me with something incredibly special—tuna bone marrow—a delicacy I hadn’t had in years and honestly never thought I’d be able to try again. The fact that he remembered and went out of his way to make it happen meant the world to me. That kind of attention to detail and commitment to their guests is what keeps us coming back week after week.

And the dish itself? Mind-blowing. The flavor was rich, buttery, and delicate all at once—something only a skilled chef can truly execute well. Beyond the taste, tuna bone marrow is highly nutritious, packed with omega-3 fatty acids, collagen, and essential vitamins and minerals that promote brain function, heart health, and support skin and joint health. It’s not just a rare treat—it’s a powerhouse of nutrients that made the experience even more memorable.

Every visit to Otori feels like catching up with family over incredible food. I’m always cheering my beer with Kyle and the chefs, and we always leave with full hearts and full stomachs. It’s more than a dinner—it’s an experience built on trust, community, and passion.

If you’re looking for a sushi spot that combines top-tier cuisine with heartfelt hospitality, Otori Sushi is it. A huge thank you to Kyle, the chefs, and the entire team for always making us feel like we’re part of something special. We’re forever fans!

We were looking for a spot to eat but it was almost 9pm. Just about everything closes at 9 around palm springs. So we did not have many options and ended up here. It s pretty hidden in a random strip mall. I was worried when we pulled up and ordered cautiously. We ended getting the lion roll, ultimate albacore desert roll, the Toro sashimi, unagi, mango tango roll. So good. The unagi was first and was the only thing that was mid. The Toro had very good flavor and texture and came with fresh wasabi which elevated the fish so much and was great on the rolls too. The mango tango I d say is a 4/5. The lion roll and albacore roll are 5/5, both excellent. Finished up with the fried cheese cake, that thing was so damn crispy. We came back again the next day. Excellent spot that completely obliterated first impressions.

Everything was delicious and fresh. The Otori Bento set was well worth it, it came with so much food. Definitely keeping on my list of places to eat in Palm Springs.

FABULOUS! Worth the wait and the wait is never long anyway. Has to be the best sushi in the Valley!! Some of the best we’ve had and were from Seattle. The rolls were so unique. The one topped with red onion blew our mind! How come we don’t see that elsewhere, it was so flavorful and gave a lil crunch.

We put our names on the list via a QR code outside but you could go inside and put your name in too. There was lots of people waiting when we drove up but the wait was less than 20 min. Will def go back, in fact can’t wait.
Baja Salmon, Otori, Monster, Rollercoaster Rolls were dope and play well together.

2nd Visit: even better!! The decor and service is impeccable and there was no wait at all in late June on a Thursday night. Albacore and tuna sushi was dope. Spicy garlic edamame and miso soup are impeccable. We had the Baja Fresh, Monster, Rainbow, Romance rolls and they were PERFECT compliments to each other.

Best sushi in the valley. Love the mango tuna roll, toro, teriyaki chicken, monkey brains, soft shell crab and uni. The owner is always there, staff is always friendly, happy and helpful. The food is prepared extremely fast. This place is awesome. I would absolutely recommend this for sushi lovers, also a great place for people who want other things than sushi.

i could be found in the desert. Boy was I wrong. This is hands down one of the best sushi restaurants I’ve been to and the price was reasonable. If you’re hesitant just give it a try. Expect a bit of a wait. We went on a Tuesday evening and the place was packed but had no more than a 12 minute wait.

I have been to every sushi spot in the desert and a million more all over California and this is, by far, my absolute favorite sushi spot. The baked mussels are legendary, the salmon crunch is amazing too. Service is always perfect, and the price is amazing for the quality of food.

Good quality sushi and great service! Pricey and some of the portions are small but it’s very good. Their salmon sashimi is fresh and tasty. Their spicy tuna roll is also fresh and very good. I also enjoyed the stuffed jalapeños.
