Small fine dining with an iconic owner!
We had the tasting menu and were blown away with every single course.
A lot of influences all around Italy.
Especially the wine recommendation of the amazing friuli isonzo from Vie die romans was outrageous.
In Verona you can find a lot of good restaurants, but this one has charisma named Marta.

Superb dining, friendly staff, (the chef even came out to the table to check everything was ok), fantastic ambience. No wonder it’s one of the oldest restaurants in Verona. Honestly, my wife and I were so pleased we celebrated her 60th birthday here. It was so good we immediately booked again for our last evening meal before we leave for home. Can’t explain any bad reviews, this is a must if you are in Verona. Thoroughly recommend, and we ARE returning.

Scamsters of the most sneakiest kind. Tried to charge us €25 more for the wine. Plus added water to our bill – which we didn’t have. Forced two desserts on us when we clearly said we wanted one to share.

The food was fine but not amazing and not worth the price, especially when there are other better places just a few minutes walk away. The bread turned out to be 10 euros and was not good. Service was okish. We were the only ones there all night, wish we’d read the reviews properly before but the michelin stickers drew us in! Also music playing was a bit naff.

The Ambiente in this Restaurant is outstanding! Carefully curated Lights and Objects fit seemlessly into what seems like a cozy jungle of Plants and Mirrors.
We were served by two very attentive professionals, who gave elaborate recommendations of the menu.

The food was incredibly tasty and rich in flavour. I can especially recommend the white ragou.
Since we are currently on a „dry january“ we did not taste the wine selection, however, qe had the pleasure of enjoying a fantastic freshly mixed alcohol free Cocktail.

After the Dinner we where walked to the Door by the Owner, which was an exceptional personal touch.

Its a great place for romantic Dinners!

We would definitely come back!

Worst restaurant I’ve ever been to – in my life. I’m not joking. I’ve never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant, or felt like I had to be on my guard all night to avoid being ripped off. We were almost finished with our bottle of wine so they brought us a new one, already opened, without asking first. They then got angry and aggressive when I gently pointed out that we didn’t order it. To appease them we ordered the desserts that they forcefully insisted we take – despite wanting to leave. The final coup de grace was to charge us exorbitant sums for bread and olive oil and god knows what else that we didn’t ask for and didn’t eat. When we dared ask about that – also gently to avoid cashing a fuss and ruining our night further – they started shouting and told us to leave! The female owner then physically pushed us out while hurling abuse in front of other diners!! I thought I was in a bad movie. I’ve never seen anything like it. We were all shell shocked.
I’ve seen the positive reviews and all I can say is – you got lucky! The owners are genuinely crazy, and I don’t say that lightly. So maybe they just weren’t working the night you were there, or were busy elsewhere.
Avoid at all costs, unless you like the idea of a ruined evening that you can tell your friends about for the rest of your life…:)

The service was so wonderful. We were greeted by the owner and she explained everything so beautifully despite my bad Italian. The dish she recommended – the amber jack was so delicious. My husband had a pasta made with fish stew broth and lobster that melted in your mouth. So glad we walked there from our Airbnb. Can’t wait to tell people about it.
