Descrivendo un po’ il locale, entrando si nota subito la tipologia: osteria classica con le pareti piene di quadri con cui i pittori dellepoca a volte pagavano i loro pranzi, ambiente sobrio e rustico allo stesso tempo… Losteria si divide in tre sale. La prima subito come si entra(quando non si entra direttamente dal portone del caseggiato) dove una volta era posizionato il bancone della mescita vini, non molto grande ma accogliente per ospitare riunioni di lavoro o di famiglia. La seconda un po più grande(dove si giocava a carte e biliardo) adatta per piccoli ricevimenti, dove sono in mostra le fotografie con i personaggi famosi dellepoca del Gigino. La terza(la più intima), piccolina dove, salendo 3 gradini, si è a contatto con loste…

Great good in a super atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel at home. Portions are huge. The ravioli Genovese us delicious and the meat from cecchini is amazing (but very expensive)

Great food, delicious pasta and meats cooked to perfection. We had dinner our first night in Genoa and the food was so good that we had to already make a future reservation for our last lunch before leaving Genoa. Friendly service staff and we were able to make reservations via a phone call with someone who can converse in English. Perfect start to our trip to Genoa. Definitely recommend anyone to visit for a great gastronomical experience.

Wonderful family run restaurant. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Explained everything to us even though we don’t speak Italian. The portion of dishes are very generous. And the steak tasted fantastic.
