Osteria del Tempo Perso is exactly what a place of this kind should be: traditional dishes, slightly modernized but without excessive ambitions, with good‑quality ingredients so they are not heavy to digest. A selection of both seafood and meat dishes. Very good desserts. Efficient and extraordinarily friendly service. You leave happy.

Just phenomenal, must make reservations ahead. Opens at 7 pm. Everything was the best I have ever tasted, pre fix meal gives you a great selection.

It rained all day, which dampened the mood a little and we wanted a culinary highlight that would justify leaving the house. Without further ado, we decided to make a reservation by phone. When we arrived, the typical flair of an Italian osteria gave us hope and the food and service were convincing. A small but varied selection – something for everyone. Elaborately prepared, but no overly extravagant combinations. Honest cuisine. Attentive, well-organised service. 1 star deduction for ambience – abandoned tables were not cleared for a long time and our table was wobbly. Price-performance ratio was very good from our point of view. An absolute recommendation!

A fabulous dinner to end our 3 day visit to Ravenna. This place is tucked away from the main streets. You’ll likely need to book in advance as it’s very popular for good reason. We used the online reservation. The menu selection was lovely, mostly oriented to fish but a couple of meat plates as well. Managed stater and main. No room for desert. Fully recommend this place.

Great lunch in Ravenna. Food is all homemade and beautifully presented. The pasta dishes were some of the best we had in Italy. I had a hand rolled spinach pasta on yummy pumkin puree with pumpkin seeds. Wow. The service was great. Highly recommend

Incredibile dinner – 5 people – 5 starters, 5 mains, 5 desserts – every single one of us regular diners out had an outstanding meal. Taking traditional into the 21st century. So grateful to our angel, Raffaella, who knows everything for the very good recommendation. Great welcome and friendly service from Fatima. Thank you for a great evening.

We really enjoyed the chef’s creativity combined with fresh ingredients. The service was warm and very knowledgeable about the menu and pairings. Such a cute and cozy environment. The Motown music just added to the ambiance. Must try’s are the anti pasta eggplant, ceviche and the codfish. The pistachio and chocolate semifrado and lemon gelato were out of this world.

The food service and wine was pure perfection and deserves more than 5 stars. I’ve been in Italy for over two weeks and this is the best food I’ve eaten. I hope to be back again before I leave to Cape Town.

I’ve always held Michelin-listed restaurants in high regard, but my recent visit to an old establishment in the city center has made me reconsider. Despite the promising start with well-prepared antipasti and an extensive wine list, the experience quickly declined when it came to the main dishes.

After a long wait, the main courses finally arrived, only to disappoint. The duck was overcooked, lacking the tenderness one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. The fritto misto was particularly underwhelming, consisting almost entirely of squid rings—95%. The dish included only four shrimp and a single piece of octopus, which is far from the variety one would expect. Additionally, the frying technique was rough, leaving the dish greasy and unappealing.

While the staff was friendly and the ambiance was pleasant, the inconsistencies in the food were too significant to overlook. The numerous Michelin stickers on the door suggest a level of culinary excellence that this restaurant, unfortunately, did not deliver. I’m giving it 2 stars, primarily because my expectations were set so high by its accolades.
