Save your money! By far the worst Mexican food ever cooked. Wanted to order the chorizo because that would be safe to order when you don’t know about a place. Conveniently they were out. Instead we ordered steak and chicken tacos. The “steak” is just chopped up ground beef. The chicken had more water in it than Elk Lake. The only reason this place is still open is because Short’s has tipsy customers with no other options when the BBQ truck is not open. Do not waste your hard earned money on this poser Mexican food truck. It would be negative 5 stars but that’s not an option.

Only had steak tacos. No carne asada. It’s ground steak with no flavor. You get 4 tacos with an onion and cilantro mix. No salsa, morning else and you prepay the 18$.
Do not recommend in the slightest. Hope Flannigan’s is open if you ever mother to come here.

Fantastic food that is authentic, super fresh, and very flavorful. Love the HOT green salsa but I love all their salsas. Great people too. Have been a customer of the brick and mortar store for a few years and you get the same fresh, healthy , and delicious food here at their food truck.

Ordered two steak burritos- received hamburger. And! It was $45 for 2 burritos and one bottle of water. Our fault for not asking, the prices weren’t posted. But who ever heard of paying $45 for Mexican food. Not even in a sit down restaurant.

There is nothing better than a summer days in northern Michigan with Shorts beer and the best salsas and tacos in the US. It’s authentic and made from the heart. I stop by the main store for my morongo and primativa salsas which are spicer and my faaaavorite!! We are lucky they are so close to home now with the food truck!!

This guy named Nick was amazing. His version of carnitas was absolutely a delicious and delight to eat. He was extremely nice and helpful, especially with rude customers. He was working non stop the entire time i was there and still had time to give excellent customer service. Will definitely come back again because of him.

We were on our boat in Elk Rapids, a neighbor mentioned this place for the buritto, said it was 15.00 enough for 2. We went there today and picked up one of the super taco alambre, it was delicious and more than enough for the two of us!
