O’Shucks was a great surprise for me. I usually don’t like sushi, but I tried their fried sushi with avocado and crab, and both were bomb. Definitely a must-try if it’s your first time having sushi. They also have happy hour every Wednesday evening perfect if you’re going with a group. You can enjoy half-priced sushi and beer, which makes it totally worth it.

Absolutely loved it! Cute little hole in the wall bar AND sushi place in one, what more could you ask for when you weren’t asking for anything. Walked in on a whim, first timers having sushi and different sake then usual. Malorie has been so sweet and helpful, between helping me pick out a sake and our sushi rolls. Ohh also, let me add the atmosphere is superb, got us a great table, great people watching and superior tunes on the speakers. 100000% recommend.

Nice atmosphere. Downstairs. We waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for lunch after we ordered. I’ve heard good things about the food but apparently you have to wait more than 2 hours to try it. They gave us some edamame but 1 bowl isn’t filling for multiple people.

First time at O’Shucks Bar and Grill and it won’t be my last! Arrived right when they opened – the place was clean (a little older, but well-kept) with a great laid-back vibe. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
I didn’t realize they’re known for their sushi, but I tried five different rolls recommended by the waitress and every single one was delicious – fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The food overall was fantastic, and the atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy.
Definitely planning to come back, and I’ll be recommending O’Shucks to friends looking for great sushi, tasty food, and a friendly environment.

Everyone I’ve come to this place, from the live band Cactus Cola, to the key lime pie martini, to the wonderful fish sandwich. Its the perfect spot!!!! The icing on the cake is out on the patio they allow pets! I can’t forget about the great service Yolonda was a great waitress! Had to tell the manager how wonderful his establishment was!. If your looking for a great relaxing place to come on a weekend, this is the place!!!!

Maybe we got them on an off night. But I think I’d get faster service at a mortuary… there were about 20 people in the entire place, and after our order was taken, it took 25 minutes to get a veggie roll and another 30 before we decided to cancel our drink order. We ordered two drinks and one roll. We were served our roll with an apology for the wait. Which I was fine with the 25 minutes, if our drinks would have been served at the same time. But then we don’t see our waitress for an additional 30 minutes. I stood up to see if I could flag her down when I see the bar tenders made one of our drinks and it was sitting at the edge of the bar and were sitting on their phones rather than making the second drink. At this point, it just felt disrespectful. We asked for the check and never even got our drinks. Like I said, maybe it was an off night, but not a great first impression.

Was in town and saw some good reviews, and they mentioned half price sushi during happy hours. Was a block away from our hotel, came by and was not disappointed.
We ordered 4 sushi rolls and they were all delicious. We sat around the sushi bar as well, giving some great authenticity. Sushi artists are very good and helpful for any questions.
Few notes, it is in a bar so you need an ID. My wife forgot hers in the hotel so we had to go back to get. Blame dresses for not having pockets. But still a note if you’re walking like we were.
Again, solid find for some great sushi. It is a steal during their happy hours.

we came on a busy wednesday (super cool btw they do $5 schooners and $5 rolls). unfortunately the bar had reached capacity, luckily toast was the best and even put us on the list while we waited to enter. they were great to talk to and kept us entertained in the cold. truly one of the best bouncer experiences i’ve had!! thanks toast!

Lunch times was a little caos. Short staff for the amount of customers that came during that time.

This is a dive bar / sushi bar, and I’m not usually someone who goes to bars, but this place was surprisingly relaxed and chill. A friend took me here and I had a great experience. The sushi was amazing and the service was phenomenal. It’s also a great spot to bring friends who don’t eat sushi since they serve burgers too.
