New, clean, and delicious stop for a inexpensive and delicious dinner! They have a salsa bar and if you are eating in, free chips, about 6 different salsa flavors, and pickled carrots, onions, and peppers. I think this is a hidden gem more people need to find put about. We had a chicken taco, carne asada taco, and street corn that was out of this world! Dinner for 2 less than $20 and it was freshly made and authentic. Go try for yourself!

went in because we got a coupon in the mail and was not disappointed! the service was quick and friendly, i didn’t get her name but the girl working the cash register was very nice. they have a salsa bar with chips to help yourself to. i got the fish tacos (pictured) and they are huge and filling for the price! my partner got the mini asada tacos and he loved them. will definitely be keeping this place in mind next time we want local mexican food. thank you!

“Fabiola”is the best!, the service is always excellent. It’s always clean in the restaurant. The salsa bar has some of the best salsa az has to offer,the chips are always fresh and crispy. Jorge (the cook) can cook very well,the food is beyond good,the prices are surprisingly cheap for the food to be that good,honestly I can’t believe how much cheaper compared to others. I have to rant about flavor,this place the best when it comes to balancing flavor! Thank you again Fabiola and Jorge, see you two tomorrow.

I love tacos. I’ve been waiting for this place to open because its very near to my house. It’s finally cool enough to go out so I decided today was the day.
When I walked in I walked right back out because the place smells BAD. But, I got to my car and thought “am I really never going to give the food a try”? So I went back in and ordered a crispy beef taco. It was meh. Boring. And the meat was dried out. The place was overly loud and one woman was the only person taking orders at both the counter and window. No one else was in the dining room except one Hispanic man who might have been the boss…? The lady was neither friendly nor rude. Just automatic. However, when I asked her if she could turn down the music on one speaker she turns it all off which I thought was very nice.
@ three seventy five per taco I’ll probably not be back unless its in a pinch.

I was excited when a taco place opened near my house because the area was lacking. I have eaten here approximately 20 times and I’ve never had a bad experience. The food is consistently good, the people who work there are super friendly, and it is clean. I understand that everyone’s different, but I’m a bit surprised by some of the reviews I read here because as I said, I’ve been here a lot and I have never had a bad experience. I’m not a big reviewer/online poster/commenter but I felt compelled to post this.

I get burritos here every Tuesday for my plumbers. I love them and my plumbers love them. Oscars is the best out there!! Jorge is the best and very kind. He’s the one that cooks up 20+ for me weekly!!

The food quality has really gone down since they first opened, everything tasted premade, especially the meat ( heat and eat) the Shrimp was much smaller and void of flavor. Not sure why. I’d rather they raised the price if needed to maintain the great food they served in the past.

I have tried Oscar’s Taco shop on a whim and been going ever since. The service is always great and Faviola and Jorge are the best. They always give me good advice on what to try from the Taco’s to the Quesadillas and I love the chicken nachos .I would definitely recommend going there. And don’t forget to greet Victoria with a smile .. Hola

I had the Tuesday Taco special of 4 El Pastor street tacos with a 20 oz drink for $8.99 – I ate there, so I enjoyed free chips and salsa and a great salsa bar (red, green and avocado salsa, freshly made – and chips salsa) – tacos had plenty of meat and a nice toping of diced red onion – I thought the meat was quite flavorful – I had ice tea to drink (quite good) as they have diet Pepsi but not diet coke (boo!), but still, good value for the money, nice and clean and love that salsa bar and the free chips – also had pickled carrots and peppers – music was nice, some great mariachi songs, I think, and you could hear it but not too loud – all in all, a great experience – I’ll be back!
