It was my first time at Oscars, and I will definitely be back! I was able to snag a seat in the outdoor dining area and got to enjoy live music from the boardwalk. All the dishes and drinks were absolutely delectable! We started with the seared tuna, which had a slightly spicy bite…AMAZING! Following the app was a classic Caesar salad and I ordered the crab cake with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Service was also impeccable, everyone was so friendly! We did have to wait a bit for our entrees after our apps were cleared, but other than that it was a seamless dining experience.

We went in expecting a fancy restaurant and prices that match. Our food was good, my margarita was not. I should have known better than to order a margarita at this type of restaurant, but I couldn’t even drink the whole thing. My husband ordered from their tasting menu and had shrimp, sirloin, and cheesecake. I had filet mignon. The food was well prepared and enjoyable, however I did feel it was a hair overpriced. Our server was not personable and did the bare minimum. He didn’t tell us about the specials, never checked on us once we got our food until he gave us the check. We were on our honeymoon, but we were not asked if we were celebrating anything like I saw others mention in our review, so I have no idea if they do anything differently for celebrations. Other wait staff seemed to be much more helpful and personable. We had a nice meal, but I would not go back.

Fancy dinner, fancy service, fancy atmosphere, fancy price. The food, service, and atmosphere is great, and I would hope it would be for the price tag. My wife got the surf and turf (8 oz filet mignon with 6 oz lobster tail) and I got the cowboy ribeye with lobster tail add on. We also tried the lobster bites and creme brûlée. All were amazing. My only complaint is that they asked if we were celebrating anything (which we were celebrating our anniversary) and we didn’t get anything. Why ask if there’s no reason behind it? Maybe next time we’ll try asking if they have any offerings. Overall the experience was very pleasant along with the food and service. Would strongly recommend for special occasions.

Great food and fantastic service! Fun and well-balanced drinks – fruit flavors in the passion fruit and black cherry rum drinks really came through in a nice way. Excellent bread and salad options – appreciate them splitting our Oscar’s salad for us. NY strip was cooked perfectly and paired excellently with the sauce, and my wife loved her shrimp risotto with the addition of expertly-prepared scallops. Very nice blueberry crumble NY cheesecake for dessert. Classy establishment, well worth the price tag.

Obviously a fine dining establishment, so you go in expecting prices to be high. No problem there. With high prices though, one would expect the food quality to match as well as the drink quality. Food isn’t bad, average at best. Same thing with the drinks. Flat beer. Notch 3 (I think that’s the name of it) was horribly flat and disgusting and shouldn’t be served. Service is pretty good, atmosphere is beautiful.

Excellent food and service. It is a bit on the pricier side so completely worth it. Indoor or outdoor seating. I got the sirloin on the three course menu which was as tender as a filet. Others in my group had pork chops, Flounder, and crab cake and their food was excellent as well. Lava cake for dessert was so good as was creme brulee. Highly recommend.

Oscar’s has the freshest local seafood. Beautiful elegant decor and spacious. This is a great restaurant for special occasions. Excellent service and my meal was extremely delicious ❗️Awesome beautiful oceanside views. ️Oscar’s Oceanside menu is top notch ❗️Located on 26th Street on Atlantic Avenue. Oscar’s Oceanside offers valet parking.
