Nice space inside for bringing the family or hanging at the bar to catch a game. Servers were nice. Food is ok. Good burger and fish sandwich. Actually, probably would be better as just a “fish & chips” as the bread can’t really hold up to the slaw and dressing. Enjoy them!

I visited the Pasadena location of Oscar’s Alehouse (one of their four locations) for lunch and had a fantastic experience. I was seated immediately, and the wait staff was personable, attentive, and made the whole visit feel easy and enjoyable.

The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and very reasonably priced. I was especially impressed by the variety on the menu. Whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, or a devoted meat lover, there’s truly something for everyone. It’s rare to find a place that caters so well to different dietary preferences without compromising on quality.

I didn’t order any alcoholic beverages this time, but their beer selection looked great, with plenty of appealing options for a future visit.

Overall, Oscar’s Alehouse delivered a wonderful lunch experience, and I’ll definitely be returning.

We had a large group of 12 adults and 2 young children. Crystal, our server, exhibited talents you rarely see these days. Not only was she present and incredibly attentive to the needs of our large party, she remembered which dish and drink went to whom as her co-workers accompanied her to the table with our orders. We asked to spiral to the manager just so we could praise her and the restaurant for giving us such a wonderful experience! We will definitely go again and again. Thank you to all the bartenders, servers, and chefs for your exceptional service!

If you don’t mind noisy bar/restaurants, Oscar’s is well worth going for the food. To me their prices are very reasonable and the wood flamed taste of their grilled items is delicious. On this, our last visit, as a vegetarian I had their Black Bean Burger which comes with a nice side salad. It is the best Black Bean Burger I have eaten and I have eaten many (see photos). My wife had the “Rachel” sandwich (turkey, coleslaw, thousand island dressing) and it was delicious. I also recommend their very tasty onion soup that seems to be popular. Our server this time was Tyler and he couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating, he’s an asset to Oscar’s. If you get coupon mailers in your mail, always check for Oscar’s coupon. It’s a whopping $10 off on orders over $30. Wow, what a deal, especially for seniors. Best times to go for fewer crowds/waiting, I recommend Mondays through Wednesdays.

First time in, whole place is round leaving for awkward spots in the perimeter unless you’re ready to mix it up in the mosh pit of a bar area. The two hostesses were pissed off and looking down like they wanted to go home at 8:00 p.m. That being said we were seated in the worst possible Booth right behind the kitchen and silverware prep area shouldn’t even be a table there. Got to watch two employee mini tables with servers actively eating their dinner and drinking right next to us. But it was my birthday and had a fantastic date with me and enjoyed the food and service. With all of the options in the area might give this place a second chance one day if John Taffer redesigns the dining area.

First visit with a group of friends for a 6PM midweek dinner. Nice big parking lot and the place looks brand new and tidy on the inside and out. The place has a fun brewhouse vibe going on and the music wasn’t too loud so we all could hear each other talking. Surprise – they have a happy hour that runs until 6PM with some discounts on beers and appetizers, so we tried the wings and fried old bay pickles. The wings were OK but not remarkable – fun flavor but not particularly heat hot (from the fryer) or crunchy and were pretty small in size. The pickles, on the hand, were amazing – a generous helping, great crunch, and spice, and dipping sauce – everyone loved these. The menu here is huge and varied (honestly, almost felt like I was at Cheesecake Factory, not sure how those cooks do this for a small restaurant). Prices are typical, and both quality and serving size is excellent. My burger was delicious, cooked perfectly, lots of toppings, and the fresh homemade onion rings ($0.75 extra) were close to the best I have ever eaten (and others at the table concurred). The dessert of the day (blueberry crumble) was similarly homemade, fresh, and delicious. Our server was nice and friendly at all times, and the appetizers and food both arrived quickly……but once the food arrived, she kind of disappeared. She kept bringing us 90% empty bottles of ketchup, and after our 4th bottle squeezed empty, we gave up on that. No one ever got water refills. And when we asked for our check, she disappeared for 20 minutes. So, overall I would recommend this place to friends for the food and beer selection alone (amazing!)….hopefully the small hiccups in service were just bad timing or a busy night. Definitely give them a try!!

The food was fantastic. I can only give 4 stars as I did not taste everything on the menu. The wings were great, Old Bay wings. The cheese steak egg rolls were excellent. The kids pizza was great and at only $8, a total steal. By far the star of the show was the bread pudding. It was a taste of heaven. If you go there, get the bread pudding!!

The drinks were tasty and refreshing and the service was very good. Love the open feel of the restaurant, and it’s laid back but fun atmosphere is good for families and a night out with friends or the significant other.

The food and service here were fantastic!
The beers from the taps were not so good.
Ordered 4 different beers from the tap and All were very flat, No head at all which mucks the flavor. Even the Yeungling was bad.
Please address this situation asap.
Ever Looked around at the bar patrons? Most are drinking bottles and cans for a reason… Thanks!

Typical American fare. Had the cheese steak egg rolls and fish and chips. Very well done! Great service! A little loud, if that’s a thing for you, loved the bar atmosphere. Bright and spacious. $70 including drinks and dessert. We’ll be back!
