Thank you for responding.
I’d like to clarify that when I called, I only asked if you were open. I did not specifically ask whether you were dine-in or takeout. I came because I was very hungry and really wanted ramen.
My comments about the place being cold and not very clean in some corners were simply my personal observations. That wasn’t about “not liking” your place — it was about my experience at that time.
Regarding the food, finishing a meal does not automatically mean it was excellent. I was hungry, so yes, I ate it. But in my opinion, it did not resemble Tonkotsu ramen as I expected — it was overly salty, had very few vegetables, and the pork belly didn’t look freshly prepared.
When I was asked if everything was okay, it was a quick check, and I didn’t feel like starting a discussion in the moment. That doesn’t invalidate my honest feedback afterward.
I’m not attacking your business. I’m simply sharing my experience as a customer.
Original comment:
Dirty and cold place.
I ordered Tonkotsu ramen. They don’t have it in the menu, but they said they have in some other menu. First of all they didn’t give me a spoon.
Pork belly didn’t look like it was grilled. I have a feeling it was bought ready to be added to the soup. Over salted. Mostly it was noodles and just a little vegetables. Almost no veggies. So, it didn’t look like Tonkotsu at all.
I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
The place itself is not inviting to sit down for a meal. Feels more like a grab-n-go.
Rolls were also super yummy.
Shrimp and vegetable tempura was also a big portion!
Will definitely come back! ☺️
It’s definitely not a dine in place which is fine by me. Even though they have a few tables.
The lady who works there is always super friendly and energetic. The guy always seems a little grumpy but he’s nice enough.
Glad I have a mom and pop place to support for my lunches.
All in all a wonderful experience and we will be back for more. Looking forward to trying some more of the sushi dishes and a lot more tuna and eel! It was really that good.
Bear in mind that seating is limited as the building is rather small. Takeout is a good option for this place.
Highly recommend this spot. They also do take-out!
What impressed me even more? This was a pickup order, yet they included a generous amount of soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger without me even asking—a rarity in most places where you have to beg for extras. The staff were warm and welcoming, and though the restaurant itself is simple, it’s spotless and brims with local charm.
Fair prices, unbeatable quality, and thoughtful service? This spot has earned a permanent place on my favorites list. If you’re nearby, do yourself a favor and try it. Absolutely worth it!
