I would have given this establishment a rating o 4 stars, but even tho the food was good, and the portions in my opinion was smaller then they should have been for sesame seed, chicken and rice. As of now the 3 stars will stand until another visit. Well, I can go down the street and get more for the money . But the taste was better than other locations of similar atmosphere. I would add a little more sugar for the southern sweet tea. It really wasn’t sweet for a sweet tea, but all in all I would recommend this establishment. We were a table of three people and since many people ask, we did tip $40 to our server. He was nice. We will be back to try it again. Our place were empty when we left.

Staff was super nice on phone. I’m sorry I’m picky but chicken was over fried and very dry like literal jerky inside hard outer fry and some I could find no chicken as pictured . Crab Rangoon was also way over fried. So hard I couldn’t eat it. Rice not cooked enough or old. Salad or lettuce rather was old, slimy and browning. I didn’t get sauces I paid for and DD would not refund. I spent $92 for two people and expected better. Threw it out after a few bites.

Portland is so glad to have this place! Hoping it kicks Bento out of Portland. The service was great. It was her first night and she was training another girl too. We sat ourselves because there didn’t appear to be anyone available to seat people at the time. They are hiring right now so if I wasn’t working already, I wish I could help! If the business tonight says anything, they need more booths. After the waitresses though. And hard to find places that have great yum yum sauce!! The best in Tn! Excited to go back!

I enjoyed the hibachi chicken; it was flavorful and cooked to perfection. I was seated promptly, which I appreciated, but it took a little while for the staff to take my order. The yum yum sauce was fantastic, and I liked that they kept the bottle on the table, so I didn’t run out while eating.
Overall, the food was enjoyable and the experience was okay, but slow service prevented it from feeling like a perfect visit.

Food is very good. We went on opening day and it was busy but still delicious. Food is high quality and the menu selection is vast. Service was a little slow, but it could’ve just been an opening day issue. Very nice interior decor. Reasonably priced, nothing seemed super expensive. For 3 of us to get each a dinner plate, 2 sushi rolls, and drinks was about $60.
