I ordered online a couple of times and was super impressed with the quality of the fish, so I decided to dine in for the first time tonight. I was surprised to find the place is in a corporate park that smells like mothballs. Not going to lie, I was a bit worried but the food came out and again it was top tier for DC area much less Woodbridge. I usually stick to sushi and sashimi so I can’t vouch for the rolls or really anything else, but man I was surprised.

Hole-in-the-wall in a strip mall. It’s not a showcase hibachi restaurant like Benihana, but the food is just as good. I like the difference in the types of sauces and ratios that each restaurant makes for their dishes. The decor is simple. It doesn’t scream Americanized Japanese fare either. I had the hibachi cooked chicken and fillet with fried rice. I usually always get an order of gyoza.

They do a very poor job of cleaning the table grill. Also had dirty utensils. I had to ask more than 3 times for a clean utensil. Now I understand why they keep the lights so low in the restaurant; it’s so no one sees how unclean the place is. Where is the health and safety department?!

Not good. 45 minutes – no food. And we were the only people in there. Watching Door Dashers wait 30-60 minutes for food. I finally left. Wife stayed to get the food, brought it home, and I am fairly certain I didn’t get what I ordered. Terrible.
