This was my third time at Osaka San Isidro, and once again it was an excellent experience.
This time we ordered a meat dish served with mashed potatoes and mushrooms, the meat was incredibly tender and flavorful, absolutely delicious.
We also decided to try the salmon sashimi, and it was spectacular, truly a work of art, both in presentation and taste. The sushi rolls were exquisite, and the nigiris were also outstanding.
We went to celebrate a family member’s birthday, and everything was perfect. Definitely a place we will keep coming back to.

Exceptional dining experience – delicious seafood, sushi, and steak! This iconic restaurant is in the heart of San Isidro and offers an elegant dining room and patio. The music is energetic with an upscale vibe. The food is incredible and I had multiple courses. The wasabi ceviche started everything off with the typical wasabi kick – fresh, flavorful, and a nice portion of scallops and fish. Next came the tuna tartare roll that was exceptional. A great blend of tuna, avocado, with spicy mayo and roe on top. The crown jewel was the balsamic truffle tenderloin that melted in my mouth with a side of mushrooms and potatoes. I didn’t expect the steak to be so good, but it was as good as I’ve experienced anywhere in the world.
Highly recommend upscale dining experience!

Best fish restaurant experience for me to this date, amazing!! my favorite was the tiradito Peru, had to order one more before i left with a spoon to capture all the absolutely delicious juices. Also the secret recipe chicha morada was insane, best i have tried so far and i have tried over 50 different (forgot to take a picture before i finished )

I’ve visited other Osaka locations before and consistently enjoyed outstanding food along with truly attentive service.
This visit was different. The dishes were tasty—especially the ceviche and the inka gyozas—but the service fell short. I was placed at the bar because I was told the tables were reserved, which didn’t seem accurate since several remained empty. From my seat, I ended up watching the bartenders flirt and repeatedly sample the cocktails they were making. It didn’t feel like the level of professionalism you’d expect from a venue with that reputation and price point.

This is one of the best restaurants in Lima and the best Japanese-Peruvian (Nikkei) i Lima I know. Everything from the service, presentation to food, drinks and dessert was excellent. The ballanced combination of tastes with accent on great quality and innovative methods keeps you without the breath. It is price-y and posh, but that’s exactly for concrete audience that expects certain level and it is willing to pay for it. Reservation is highly recommended. 5 out of 5.

Osaka is a place that makes a strong first impression. It’s visually impressive—definitely the spot you pick when you want a meal to feel like a real occasion.
The food here is a mixed bag, but the peaks are seriously high. We tried the Tumbo Shrimp, which was fine, no complaints there, but the real showstoppers were the cold appetizers. The Ceviches and Tiraditos were truly exceptional—easily the highlight of the menu. And if you’re a sushi person, you have to hit the Inca Sushi; it was ridiculously good.
Beyond the food, they nail the drinks. I had the Negroni, and the presentation was super theatrical; they really put on a show. Crucially, the drink itself was perfectly crafted—not just for looks. I was also pleasantly surprised by how many good vegetarian options they offered; my wife was genuinely pleased, which isn’t always the case.
Overall, it’s a solid choice for a night out. The ambiance and the standout dishes—like those ceviches and the Inca roll—make it a great place to gather with friends or celebrate.

If you’re in San Isidro, Peru, make your way to this spot. Peruvian / Japanese fashion style sushi is offered, and it is delicious. There are several of these locations around the world, but the original restaurant originated in Peru. You have to experience the cocktail program. A mixologists approach to the cocktail is taken, as fresh syrups and other ingredients are prepared in-house. Drinks are well balanced and tasty. Some of the drinks are presented in a creative fashion. Look into reservations, especially headed into the weekend. If you’re looking for a great dinner experience where the food and cocktails are delicious, combined with awesome customer service, definitely stop in. Bon appe’tit and cheers!

Osaka is already a must-visit in Lima, but with service like this, especially to SAMIRA for all the extra miles .
Osaka Lima is on another level. From the moment you walk in, everything feels perfectly curated — the ambiance, the music, the energy, and of course the food !!!!!!!! Every dish was a masterpiece: bold flavors, flawless presentation. Each bite genuinely impressed us.

First stop in Lima had to be Nikkei, that perfect Peruvian-Japanese fusion everyone kept recommending. We went to Osaka, and the menu was full of temptations. (I officially gave ceviche a break today after eating it basically every meal in Peru ). The fish? Super fresh. The grilled meat? Perfect. The ramen? A little off, but hey, it’s not a ramen shop so I’ll forgive them. Dessert was solid too. But the real MVP? A wild twist on paella that swaps rice for ramen noodles. Absolute genius.
