Josui Ramen delivers the kind of comfort and craftsmanship that keeps you thinking about your next visit before you’ve even left the table. The broth alone is worth the trip — deeply flavorful, rich without being heavy, and layered with that slow‑simmered depth you only get from true dedication in the kitchen. Every sip hits with warmth and authenticity.
The pork is melt‑in‑your‑mouth perfection. Tender, silky, and beautifully seasoned, it practically dissolves the moment it touches your tongue. It’s the kind of chashu that tells you someone back there really cares about doing things right.
And then there are the Japanese chicken wings — absolutely stellar. Crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor, they strike that perfect balance of savory satisfaction and addictive crunch. Easily some of the best wings around, ramen shop or otherwise.
From start to finish, Josui Ramen nails it. Exceptional flavors, thoughtful execution, and dishes that leave a lasting impression. A must‑visit for anyone who appreciates ramen done with heart!
Good atmosphere and the parking isn’t too bad as well.
Service is excellent and I will definitely come back when I next get the chance!
In regard to the food, we all loved the pickles and chicken wings, even my toddler. My husband enjoyed the spicy ramen and I was content with the josui ramen. I may have been too distracted with my toddler to really enjoy my ramen so I would give the josui ramen another try.
This could easily be a regular spot for us to dine at.
The restaurant itself is compact but not uncomfortably cramped. Though some of the seats have holes and the window near us was covered with a large sheet of paper and some tape. It didnt seem quite complete yet, but it doesnt take away too much from the dining experience.
Overall, great chill restaurant to take your friends out for some tasty ramen.
I had a hard time choosing between the Tantanmen and the Seafood Tsukemen, but went with the Tantanmen this time. It was rich, flavorful, and well-balanced, with just the right amount of spice and plenty of crunchy bean sprouts. I’ll definitely be coming back for the Tsukemen this summer.
One of my companions ordered the signature Jousui Ramen, and the other had the Shoyu with Garlic Oil Ramen. They usually avoid tonkotsu, but found this version light and easy to enjoy.
We all added combos (+$4.25 for salad and karaage), shared a plate of fried calamari, and ordered two small Sapporo drafts—because ramen just isn’t complete without a cold beer.
Prices:
• Jousui Ramen: $12.80
• Shoyu + Garlic Oil: $12.95
• Tantanmen: $15.00
• Combo add-on: $4.25
Total came out to around $80 for three people.
One of my companions, who didn’t even eat ramen when we were in Japan, said we absolutely have to come back.
And don’t skip the calamari—it’s crispy, tender, and definitely worth it.
Their josui ramen is their classic and a great one. Their tan tan men is also decent. I tried their maze soba this time and it was very good. The pork gyoza was cooked very well and we usually get the Japanese fried calamari which is excellent. Just full on whole calamari just fried very well.
The staff is very nice and very attentive. They also are very patient and respectful of our time. It can get quite busy during the rush hour meal times.
