My family and I absolutely love to eat at Osaka, and have been going for 10+ years. Joe and Cindy, plus their staff, give excellent customer service and make you feel welcome each and every time. They helped make my Mom’s birthday celebration there so special this year. We don’t go anywhere else for hibachi, bento box, clear soup, and sushi. The sushi is especially high-quality, delicious, and looks like art on a plate when served. Last but not least, the restaurant is very clean and tidy.

Four times we’ve stopped here on drives between Texas and Maryland. Now we make a point of stopping. Amazing rolls, HUGE portions, fantastic flavor. You will not regret getting sushi here.

Good selection of sushi! The service was great! I got a Philadelphia roll and the salmon was too smokey! We also got the green river, eel roll, dragon egg and crispy spicy tuna. I would definitely get the dragon egg again!

This restaurant is amazing! The soft shell crab tempura is delicious, the Vietnamese Rolls are unique and well created with a wonderful mango sauce, the sashimi and the nigiri were both very good, and the hibachi steak and shrimp dinner was excellent, with wonderful sauces. The tempura cheesecake was incredible, and that’s coming from someone who rarely eats dessert. The service was great! We travel a lot and eat at Japanese restaurants all over. The Osaka Japanese Steakhouse gets a rare heart on my map, because it is that good

Okay… friends of the area mentioned this place being well-known for the sushi. At first the decision was to place an order for takeout. Sat in the entry way on cozy chairs reviewing the paper menu and specials that were posted on a bulletin. One of the gentleman greeted us and offered the special for the day. Walking inside, the ambience fills every corner! The choice for takeout was now dine in!! Welcomed at our table and treated like royalty – the entire visit! (We found out later almost all guests were taken care of with such excellent service!) Our dishes included Osaka roll, fried rice and beef hibachi.

Age tofu is absolutely fantastic, have it every opportunity. Soup is excellent, as are hibachi selections (beef and chicken, scallops, shrimp). For dessert, mochi is wonderful and well presented.
Restaurant is getting older and could use a make over.

Osaka is consistently great Japanese food. Their sushi is probably the best in Bristol. The menu is vast for both sushi and entrées. Portions here are very large and my wife and daughter often split an order. Prices are very reasonable considering the prices of food these days and the portion size. Osaka is often very busy so bring a bag of patience. Please give me a thumbs up if this helped you. Thanks!

There are other Japanese restaurants in Bristol, but no equals. I always enjoy my quiet and serene experience at Osaka. Recommend for sushi, sashimi, hibachi, and really everything. The food is made and served with love.

This restaurant has been an amazing place for me since 2006. I love the food and the people there! They never disappoint. I highly recommend this restaurant. Joe is a fantastic sushi chef who learned sushi in Japan. You can taste authentic Japanese sushi here.
