This place was never blow your mind amazing, but it was a solid spot for sushi for us. However, it’s really gone downhill on our most recent visit. They had no bottled sake despite it offered on their menu, the sushi was slapped together with lower quality ingredients, and the service was nearly nonexistent through our time there. To top it off, our server literally laughed at us shaking his head when we asked to order one more round (edamame and a couple of nigiri) to finish the meal. Clearly, they aren’t interested in our business and as such, will never be getting it again.

Worst dinner service experience I’ve ever had. We had a reservation for 5:30 hibachi. We arrived on time and we’re seated promptly. Then we waited 20 minutes before anyone even came and took a drink order. 10 minutes later they returned with one of the four drinks, a soda. One cocktail, one sake, and one beer we’re not delivered. Waitress said she didn’t know how to make the drinks and someone else was going to do it. Of course the sake and the beer did not need to be made.Then about 20 minutes later the one cocktail arrived but no beer or sake. We didn’t say anything because at this point we were already over it. We’d been there over 45 minutes and no one had even taken a food order. About an HOUR after we were seated they took the food order.
Hibachi chef shows up about 90 MINUTES after we were seated. Remember we had a reservation. Three of us ordered hibachi one of us ordered a sushi entrée. By time the hibachi chef was finished and three hibachis were served there was no sushi in sight. The one meal that didn’t need to be cooked wasn’t there yet! I spoke with someone, not sure if they were the manager or not and told them forget it we don’t want the sushi at this point. I told him it was “ridiculous we’ve been here over an hour and a half all the other food is served and there is no sushi”. I was watching what was going on behind the sushi bar all this time and there was a lot of standing around. It’s not like they were backed up, they simply hadn’t done it. I was told “no problem”. Not an apology just no problem. So about 15 minutes later, as we’re finishing our hibachi, the the sushi shows up! We told them to take it away. everyone else was finished eating.
iI addition to the service being absolutely atrocious it was disgustingly dirty as well. Upon being seated I noticed there were sauces strewn all over the side of the grill facing me. I also noticed when we were seated that there was leftover rice in the gutter of the grill. The sink and everything else behind the grill was absolutely disgusting. The only reason we stayed was because it was my girlfriend‘s son‘s birthday and he wanted hibachi. We didn’t want to make a scene and ruin his evening. if it had been just me and my girlfriend I would’ve suggested leaving as soon as we were seated when I saw the state of the grill and the area behind the grill. It was gross. I eat out on a regular and fairly frequent and have for well over the last 25 years of my life. I am not exaggerating when I say this was the worst dining experience I have had. The food quality itself did seem decent but absolutely not worth the wait, the poor service, and the disgusting surroundings. The entire time we were there not a single person came over to ask us how anything was or check anything. Even after I told them how disappointed I was not a single person offered any type of apology. It’s like they suck and they don’t care. I don’t know how the ratings on this place are so high. Perhaps it’s all ratings from people getting takeout. I seriously wonder if they have any management at all because it did not feel managed in any way shape or form. Only positive I will take away is that after time passes I will find it hilarious how bad it actually was.

Very disappointed. Made a reservation for hibachi. Arrived at time of reservation. Was ignored for about 10 minutes. A family of 6 came in after us also had reservations for hibachi. They get seated before us. When we were finally acknowledged we were told there wasn’t room for us an we would have to wait an hour for dinner.

She told us “she could not check on our order and had no idea how long it would be”. There were people there that had waited at least 45 minutes. We left and won’t be coming back. Its a shame since we have come here for years and the past few years have had more dissapointing experiences than positive there.
DO NOT RECOMMEND! Also I dont recommend bring your kids here for a “family dinner/experience”. Just save your money and go enjoy any other restaurant.

Really overpriced sushi. $15 dollars for like 6 bites. No wonder there were no customers and the place was completely empty. The owner is not so polite either. Would never go again.. good luck staying in business.

I booked dinner for 14 people a month ago. They had a table ready so they must of realized they had a large party coming. The 2 waitresses worked together to take our drink order. I asked her to get out drinks and then come back for food orders. She proceeded to ignore me and went around taking food orders. 20 minutes later half of us had drinks. Half didn’t. The food started coming and half still didn’t have drinks. We had to ask 3 times. Chef was horrible. Stone face. Looks like he hated his job. No saki, vegetable toss, onion fire. He basically cooked our food without talking at all. He was mad because some ordered noodles and he was giving rice to all. The waitresses never came back for any drink refills or ask about dessert. The tip was unfortunately already included it they would not have gotten one. Before writing this the restaurant was called 3 times to ask for the manager. Today the manager was there per the person who answered the phone but he refused to talk to my friend. This restaurant has gone completely south. We will never go back especially if the manager doesn’t care!!!

We came here for lunch, which they have everyday specials, and it was very good. Everyone was super friendly. They have 3 hibachi grills and really great sushi. The popcorn lobster roll was fantastic if you like a good crunch and sauce with your sushi roll. I would definitely recommend.

Our family loves the taste and presentation of the amazing food at Osaka as well as the attentive service. We know we can count on a great experience anytime we visit! Really fun experience, food was so/so, but omg, this place is super fun, you will enjoy yourself more than the food. We couldn’t stop laughing, everybody including other guests were all delighted, the vibe here is so good!!the prices are pretty reasonable too.JUST COME! We are coming back every time we are in town, it is a good time! The staff was speaking English only.also, weirdly, they automatically give themselves a tip and don’t tell you lolol I almost left a $60 tip. I thought they were worth $40 tip but they gave themselves a $20 gratuity so hey, if that’s all they want, cool. Just double check your receipt.

Got this suggestion from my wife’s sister, saying it’s the best place in town! Haven’t been to any other places but not sure if I even want to try! This place was super tasty and creative! We got the Mexican roll and the Viking roll! The Viking roll has scallops (which I’ve never had in sushi before) it comes out in a tinfoil boat like the Vikings used travel in! Oh, and it comes out ON FIRE! Definitely check this place out!
