First time here. I had the buffet which is unique. Must say, food is very good especially the churros and the shrimp. They should really play up the salsa bar they have only suggestion is put some bowls out for customers to mix the salsa to taste. The base salsa is okay but putting some pico de gallo and some hotter salsa to the mix and it is fantastic. Tortillas are hot and wrapped for ease of handling. Wait staff is very attentive and polite. Very much recommend this place.

Went here with my family and it was pretty good! I had the arroz con pollo and it had cheese dip on top. My cousin had a taco salad and enjoyed it. The salsa is also good too. We’d definitely go back and it’s nice that their menu differs a bit from mi camino so there are different things to try. I like options without tortilla and this seemed to have more options with only meat, veggies, cheese, beans and rice.

The food there is always good but it’s never crowded. There are several Mexican restaurants in the area,probably 3 or four but I have only eaten at two of them, and I find this one the best so far. This place is the hidden gem. The food is fresh and hot and always comes out perfectly cooked. Never overcooked. It’s probably the cheapest Mexican restaurant to eat at. You get a lot for your Money and you always come out full. I don’t understand why the other Mexican restaurant I went to is always crowded, let me give you a hint, it used to be ponderosa. The last time I ate there the food was over cooked and it cost more. Try ortegas,you won’t be disappointed.

Saw good reviews of Ortega’s so I thought I’d try it . Walked in and was seated quickly , the waitress brought my water with lemon and asked if I’d like the buffet….which I hadn’t noticed. I had never seen a Mexican restaurant with a buffet so that’s what I got. And I’m glad I did because everything on it that I tried is great. I liked that could sample many main courses and didn’t have to get the fillers. So I got to try a lot of items but wasn’t stuffed afterwards. I recommend Ortega’s. And next visit I’ll order my test item for Mexican restaurants….the Chile relleno..

Best Mexican around! There is another Mexican restaurant in Maysville but it’s not Ortega’s! The buffet is amazing but if your not there at the right time for the buffet don’t worry. Everything I’ve had on the menu is amazing! I’m a big Mexican fan and have been to plenty of Mexican restaurants and this ones my favorite. Prices are great and I’ve never finished a meal in one sitting I always take home leftovers. Also service is top notch very friendly and very polite.
