I was the only person in the restaurant, and went on my own. I ordered shrimp Pad Thai. It came quickly and was tasty but was the smallest serving I have EVER had in my 40+ years of eating Pad Thai in many restaurants in different countries. About 1/3 the serving size I’m used to. I left feeling not “sufficiently suffonsified.” The waiter didn’t even ask if I wanted dessert. I wouldn’t go back.

We came here today and were not disappointed. The ambiance is nice and had some music playing downstairs as well and good dishes with options to make almost all the main dishes vegetarian friendly and also many gluten free options as they use rice noodles in many dishes instead of wheat. Decent prices and good service. The chairs are not the most comfortable though.

A spur of the moment Sunday supper, and what a wonderful surprise! Fresh, authentic and simply delicious. This little gem is tucked below street level in the centro, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Fresh herbs, beautiful vegetables, spice level just as requested. We had the pork and vegetable spring rolls to share, one pad see ew with chicken, one green curry chicken, three mineral waters and strolled out $33 dollars later, happy as can be. Worth a regular stop, and just perfect for a break from the typical San Miguel de Allende fare.

Ordered Pad Thai and Spring Rolls for take out. Both were very greasy and bland but the worst part was the part of a cleaning brush I found in my Pad Thai.

Hadnt had Thai food in a while and wanted to give this a try. There was no one else when I first walked in. Server was nice and kind and they made the summer roll with tofu, rather than with the shrimp. I appreciate that. I ordered the yellow curry tofu, a dish I’ve had many times, all over the world. The dishes came in a timely way (there was no one else there) The yellow curry however, looked like soup. It was completely liquid. I ordered it with tofu, and there was a generous amount of it but the fact that I couldnt spoon it onto the rice really made it hard to enjoy. It was also, somehow missing depth? Or salt? I scooped out all the veggies and all the broth was left in the bowl.
And while some find the decor charming, it felt really disconnected and all over the place.
Service was good. Everyone was really nice. And maybe the cook was having an off night. A decent attempt.

Sad to give a moderate review but here we are.
Went last night (Friday) at about 6:30. Zero other people dining. Took a few minutes for them to realize we were just standing there.
Good things.
Spring rolls were on point
Chicken in the curry was tender
Rice was great
Lemonade with mineral water
Ok things.
Got their hottest curry and was medium spiced at best
Garclic pork was meh. Didn’t look cooked all the way
Bad things
Our server spoke zero to us the entire time . Never asked how things were. Just took our order and delivered it. That’s it. He was the only person we saw there.
Will we go back? Most likely not unless we get a reply back on this review.

The night we ate there, both our meals were more like chopped Mexican food. The Thai Basil dish had no sign or taste of Basil. Both dishes had no sauce nor distinct flavor.

Great service and even better food! My favorite dish was the panang curry, but we also had the crying tiger, Tom kha, and pad see ew. So happy there’s authentic Thai to be had here
