First time in my 20+ yrs at a drive-thru I found myself driving away empty handed.
At approximately 7:40pm 10.29.25 I drove up to purchase an Avocado Salad (which I love from here) and I asked if I could get it with fried chicken since my kid wanted to try it this way after liking your Chicken Pita. They said I could for an extra $1.50 and the total would be $15 something. I understand a substitute charge, but the math was not correct even with tax so I said I would just stick with the original Avocado Salad on the menu and she still said it would be $15 something. I asked “‘How, since the original comes with grilled chicken?!'” She said it was $11.29 and grilled chicken was an extra $3.29 plus tax making it $15 something. I told her that math was wrong and the menu says $11.29 with grilled chicken already on it and that I have my receipt from literally purchasing it the day before. She said, “‘I don’t know, I didn’t work yesterday'”. Not sure what craziness was going on in the kitchen or what, but I said, “‘Forget it!'” and drove away. How disappointing and it makes me wonder how many of your customers just trust whatever the staff tells them their total is. Smh!!!!!
P.S. Love the food here, but this was a disheartening experience.

Orion Coney Express never disappoints. The salads are always fresh, the coneys are great, and the prices are really reasonable. Super convenient drive-thru and consistently good food. One of my go-to spots.

This is a gem!! Firstly, the building is super cool, like a retro theme. There are picnic tables outside. The first time I was here, I walked to the window to order. The following visits I used the drive thru. Anyway is an amazing experience. Affordable and mouthwatering food. They offer combos eith a drink+HUGE bag of fries. So far, I’ve tried NY dog, cheese sticks, corned beef Reuben, gyro pita, chicken pita, and Philly steak pita. And my favorite sweet treat, Michigan pot hole ice cream I usually order single, and it is a huge portion as well.
Everything I’ve tasted is extremely delicious. Everything is so fresh that I feel I’m even eating healthy, lol.

Overall, this is a good fast food joint that provides decent food that is NOT made of super processed garbage (as far as I’m aware of). I got a cheesesteak pita wrap and a Chicago dog; both were delicious and out the door quickly at a decent price. I was between meetings when I stopped here. My next location was 16 minutes away, and I had 30 minutes until that meeting started. The service was fast enough that I made it to my next appointment with plenty of time to spare. As a note: I had two cars ahead of me in line. It’s always refreshing to find fast food that isn’t just McDonald’s, Burger King, or any of the rest of that junk. Love the local spots! 100% recommend for quick and tasty (but certainly not diet friendly) food.

Seen this place after watching a YouTube series called the Coney Bros and they seemed to like it so I had to go give it a try. Enjoyed the Coney and also tried the Mozzarella sticks. They Mozzarella sticks were my favorite and will definitely stop by again when I’m in the area!!

This place is amazing. I order the Chicken Pita every time I come through here, the chicken is always perfectly cooked, the feta melts in your mouth, the pink sauce they give you to drizzle on the sandwich is amazing and compliments it so well. My kids love the chicken pitas. The guy who’s always at the drive thru is great (Lapeer Rd. Location). You get a ton of fries. It’s not a steakhouse, but it is great for what it is!
