Great place. Really just amazing spot for breakfast/brunch/lunch. The service is good (staff is fast and friendly). The atmosphere is great: cozy, natural, fun. The food was really delicious and came out fast—good coffee too. Had a good meal, can’t complain.

We got the place highly reccomened to us & we couldn’t be less happy with the slop that we were served. The service was very good & everyone was so friendly but the food they gave us was more geared towards our pup than us. Everything was so soggy & felt like it was just scooped onto the plate like you’d see in a bad prison movie.

I’m not typically a breakfast person, but for some reason when I’m on vacation I need a huge breakfast. Wanted to try some places new on our weekend upstate.

They had a breakfast burrito, a patio for the little dog, and gluten free toast option for the wife. Basically ticked all boxes, which is a rare find.

Burrito was excellent, hella loaded, good beans, eggs were great, guacamole like whoa. Pico on the side was a little awkward, next time I’ll just ask to slap thar stuff on it. And if you’re only gonna have one got sauce on the table cholula is the right answer.

Shorty got the goat cheese omelet, also real good. Standard issue but again with the gluten free toast!! Hell yeah!

OJ, was delightful, patio was super cute. Totally would come again, after I try a few different places in town.

Definitely check out the corned beef hash! Shrimp and grits were also excellent. Service was brilliant – we’ll be back!

I’ve been there before. They expanded their menu. I like the fact that they offer dishes that are delicious but very hard to make. And it’s yummy! Great drinks too. Nice people behind the scenes. When you go to Woodstock, this is a great pit stop to recharge your batteries.

Brunch at Oriole 9 was a treat. We were able to get a table for 5 without much trouble. Brunch was delicious, from the grilled Reuben to the smoked salmon benedict to the birria tostados. The fall mimosas were great, and we enjoyed a selection of pastries for the table. The service was friendly and efficient. We look forward to coming back next time we are in Woodstock!

Food is ok but slow and rude service. I put my credit card down which has a sticker on it and the waiter asked in annoyed tone “what’s this?” as if I’m messing with them just to waste their time. No, I have far more important stuff to do and you need to trust your customers. And I don’t believe you would ask this question to other white customers.

In every other places where I used this card, I either got compliments or they just politely asked if it can be tapped…

Updated to owner’s reply: This is exactly the attitude I was referring to in my original review: unprofessional and rude. To be clear, others are never “confused” about whether it’s a credit card. The sticker does not cover the chip, the numbers, or anything that would prevent it from being recognized or processed. This was never about the card itself, but about how I was spoken to.

If you run a business, you should be able to handle customers with different-looking cards without reacting with annoyance or telling them to “take it off.” It’s not the customer’s job to adjust to you. It’s your staff’s job to treat people respectfully and professionally.

I went on a Saturday around two it seemed a bit busy but there were seats. There’s some free parking in the back but when we got there it was all full. Overall I had a decent experience. The hostess was very nice and attentive. I ordered an eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, I was a bit disappointed that the eggs were over cooked. My partner ordered a tofu scramble… It was okay could use a bit more flavoring.

Had a lunch here on a bustling cold November day in Woodstock after having hiked the Kaaterskill falls trail nearby. Restaurant was very busy, yet we were seated within about 10min. Service was super friendly and the 4 of us easily found choices on the menu that suited our taste. The food came out hot and very tasty. The fries got a lot of positive nods and so did the salads. Recommend.
