Kokkene er Thailendere som er oppvokst i Thailand , vi har ikke noe mat klart, grønnsakene er nyoppkuttet og kraften er laget på forhånd derfor kan vi lage vegetar mat av alle rettene og vergan mat av 70 % av rettene vi har, ellers har vi svin, kylling, and, okse og scampi retter samt at vi har en veldig god Tofu som vi bruker istedet for kjøtt. Vi har holdt på i 13 år og har fått et veldig godt rykte på oss da spesielt på prisene og størrelsene på porsjonene og ikke minst servicen. Vi har også mye catering opptil 150 personer dette kan bringes til nærområde. Vi har Norsk betjening i kassa så vi slipper kommunikasjon problem, her går vi også på engelsk uten problem og er det Thailendere så får vi en av kokkene til og ta den delen. Velkomme

This is medium size takeout restaurant with seating from around 12 people. Note that there is a small 30 kr charge if you decide to eat dinner inside. The owner kindly explained to me this is because in Norway restaurants need to pay 10% higher tax when someone decides to eat in the restaurant. I ordered the food and ate it at a bakery close by also paid a small additional fee for the coffee to eat inside.
I ordered the pad Thai and was very happy with it given the price. It was hot (great for takeaway) and cooked to serve. Overall it was a tasty meal with well balanced flavours. The chicken was tender and well seasoned. The shrimp was slightly chewy (maybe frozen rather than fresh), but worked well with the dish. There were many vegetables but they had a very mild flavour. The noodles were well cooked and the peanuts were
flavourful. The portion size was very large and the meal was packed with chicken. Overall, even though it was not perfect, it was a very satisfying and delicious meal given the price.
Last week I also had their spring rolls to go. They were large in size and were also tasty. The exterior was crispy, however, they were very oily on the outside, to the extent where at the bottom of the bag there was a small puddle of oil by the time I got home. I think they did not dry the oil from the spring rolls with a paper towel after coming out of the fryer. Aside from that, the spring rolls were great.
Based on my experience, this place has friendly and fast service, and has reliable tasty Thai food at affordable prices. If they charged 100 kr more of the same quality of food, I would have given them a lower rating, but my rating adjusts for their pricing.

Tried ‘Tom yum gong’ soup. I expected a clear soup, but it was more like a thin ‘red Thai curry’ though tasted really good!

Great food, amazing service, and a staff at another level. You always smile when you leave this place, whom have become a very good tradition every time I visit Stavanger.

Great food, friendly/helpful staff! Most – if not all – of their menu could be made vegan/vegetarian and the staff were happy to explain how to do this and give recommendations. The meals were good portions and were sealed well for take-away (which is cheaper than dine-in). We ate there twice during our 3 night stay and would happily go back!

Picked up a takeaway from here on Monday evening, service was good. Unfortunately the food wasn’t as good, the Massaman curry was watery and lacking flavour along with the cashew curry. The Pad thai was slightly better but not great.

Went past here while on a work trip. Really good food overall. Beef noodle soup is delicious, portions very good size and friendly staff. Went 3/5 days while in Stavanger, go figure 🙂
