I grew up in el Sobrante…visited Red Onion often…it was great…back then. Skip to present times, I visited yesterday and it is NOT the same Red Onion that I remember! The burgers just aren’t good and that “secret sauce” needs to stay a secret…hidden away…forever! But the fries and shake were good!

My favorite Red Onion. Fast friendly service. Not much seating but it’s kept very very clean—no grimy counter tops or tables. Always feels scrubbed and clean. Food is fresh and super delicious. Great place to eat. Like I said, my favorite Red Onion. Yum!
