I have eaten here about two times before placing Drive Thru orders and each time the person working drive thru leaves out paid for items as if she does this on purpose. My oxtail plate included two sides and a drink, which I did not receive the coke. Now, I have to burn unnecessary gas going back to get the coke. This is unacceptable behavior for a restaurant employee. It is their responsibility to make sure every customer gets everything that he/she paid for at the time of order being made! Britta should practice better customer service skills or be taught how to give excellent customer service to every customer.

traveling back from Atlanta to my Hometown made a wrong turn travel just a few blocks past the big box. Restaurants that serve terrible food low and behold I ran into MOBETTER Chicken I gotta tell you the macaroni and cheese is to die for the collards are decent lacking a little bit of flavor, but they were hot and they were good. Not the best that I’ve had. I was super excited about the fried chicken because I am a huge fan of fried chicken. I was a bit disappointed that the chicken was a bit overcooked and it was dry. Overall, I am glad that I found this place and I will go back and try other items to include the fried chicken in hopes that it will be a little bit more moist. . It appears they fried chicken and place it in a warmer while I was waiting on my food to go. They were frying chicken and it did get a bit smoky in the building, but that is I am sure due to the nature of the fried chicken Business. I wish this restaurant the best of success and hope that people go visit and eat some good southern fried chicken and oh yeah, don’t forget about that macaroni and cheese. It is to die.

I ordered an Uber delivery from Mo Better Chicken. I requested three legs. I received 2 thighs and 1 leg. The chicken was tough as leather. You could taste the grease in the skins of the chicken and you could tell that it had been cooked in old oil that should have been thrown out. I’ve been frying chicken since I was nine years old, and this was some of the worst chicken I ever had. I allowed my grandson who is 19 to taste it and as soon as he tasted it, he said it tasted like the chicken at his high school and he said that it wasn’t fit to eat. I have ordered regularly from this restaurant and I’ve never thought the food was a 10 but the chicken was always decent. I won’t even speak on the sides however they were not good either.. This is probably the last time I order from this restaurant.

I ordered “3 spicy individual chicken thighs” and received 2 mild chicken wings and 1 thigh. And when I questioned the cashier about the swap from spicy to mild, he just repeated the price to me again. I didn’t realize how bad my order was messed up until I got home.

If you are in the Stonecrest/Conyers area, and want some Southern comfort food, I highly recommend you stop by and grab a dinner or two from Mo Better Chicken! Their food is so good! I love the fried whiting, black-eyed peas, yams and yellow rice w/gravy dinner! I almost always have to get a slice of cake, too! The baked chicken is so tasty and flavorful you will enjoy it! There is even a veggie only option with four side dishes that I have purchased and recommend if you are vegan. The staff is kind and patient when taking your order! Remember, dressing is sold/served on Sundays only! Definitely will return!

This was my FIRST and most certainly LAST time here. I am so disappointed. The food was horrible… it lacked soul and EVERYTHING else! The macaroni was clearly microwaveable Mac. The greens were nasty with no good flavor, the cornbread was DARK and was very weird… the fried chicken was awful and wasn’t spicy like stated. Baby I won’t dare step foot back in there. A waste of money for sure because it’s going in the trash.

Response to OWNER : I gave chick fil a that review because my order was wrong and they had a score of a 75, NOT because the food was NASTY like your restaurant… it’s a difference!! Maybe YOU should stay home and LEARN how to cook instead of selling HORRIBLE canned food that lacks SOUL . And you also have SEVERAL other reviews from customers saying the EXACT thing I said . So instead of being smart, get in the kitchen and fix the problem . Good day

09/2023 Review: It’s still too much of a hit and miss with the chicken (fresh or been sitting). So, I ordered meatloaf, mash, and cabbage. I was told that it comes with rice. I declined it. They sat my mash potatoes with gravy under the meatloaf and poured gravy on top of the meatloaf. The gravy and mash tastes like it’s from the box. The meatloaf, I can’t describe but, it wasn’t good even after wiping the gravy off. I will not order it again. When I took it back, the young lady said they don’t sell meatloaf without gravy because it sits in it. I’ve never had gravy on meatloaf . I asked to exchange it for the chicken. They did and the baked chicken was fine. The spicy chicken wasn’t fresh . I’m over this location. I’ve given like 12 tries at this point.

My review is for the stonecrest location. I was so excited when I found out that I didn’t have to drive to candler rd anymore. I’ve tried this location 5 times now and it’s not the same. The people are nice, service is fast, I love that they have a drive through, but the food isn’t hitting the mark. So far I’ve tried the lemon pepper wings and I liked that they were small but they were precooked and seasoned afterwards – no. I tried my regular, 2pc fried spicy chicken. The chicken everytime has been room temperature warm and a little hard as if it has sat under a heating lamp. Yawl are known for having fresh hot chicken, this is not it. The spicy chicken and the regular taste exactly the same. Neither tastes like candler rd. I tried the fried fish. The fish wasn’t seasoned at all. I threw it in the trash. ‍♀️ I will have to continue going to candler rd.
