Came at 230pm on a Wednesday. It was not busy. We were welcomed when we entered. Everything was very clean. There was music playing but thank goodness not blaring like in some places. It was a very pleasant atmosphere. I ordered shrimp on a bun with an ooey gooey dessert. The shrimp were loaded on the bun. It had plenty of tartar sauce, lettuce, tomato best of all the shrimp were big, well fried and very tasty. I love it when fried shrimp tastes like shrimp and not just batter! Plus the dessert was delicious too. I highly recommend this place.

While in town I decided to stop by.
Has always been such great spot to come get a fresh, juicy burger. Glad it’s still open after all these years.
Used to come a lot while I was in high school. Been over 20 years!
Very friendly staff and the burger and fries came out very hot and fresh.

Excellent catfish sandwich. The fish was really fresh and flavorful. The onion rings were crisp and delicious. The gumbo was well seasoned and prepared. I enjoyed it all. Service was top notch as well.

It use to be a hopping joint when this business first got to Denham; where Walgreens site, after… Frosty Top (??). But just like Denham Patty, it down sized the size of burgers, and amount of fries they gave. I still give them business as often as I can.
The atmosphere is like a dying plant, (no matter what you do, it does), and the employees reflect that. I hope things pick up for them.

Between them and Denham Patty….I’ve spent $1,000’s over the years… happily!! Love local businesses, and wish i could invest in as many as I could. So MANY are disappearing for Denham, that it’s heartbreaking…!
The patties HAVE gotten smaller,but the price of the patties have too, and I do understand the dynamics and numbers. Respect..
PLEASE do NOT take this review as a negative. Times have changed!! And if you don’t have the”bells and whistles” and flashing things things that are loud…people don’t run towards it.
I humbly apologize if I offended you,or cause any harm to the business…it would hurt me if y’all were not there. Y’all are in my top 5…!!!

My husband LOVES y’all and has been coming eating from y’all (not on a consistent basis) as often as us coming down Florida from BR!! There been a couple..3 to be exact(!!) that he has me turn off the INTERSTATE for y’all on our way home to Walker!!!!

Today for my lunch, I decided to stop by the Denham Springs Original New Orleans Poboys and get a hamburger for my lunch. My burger was nicely dressed on a new bun they are using. I have to say, the bun was perfect and a must try!

We came here for the first time on Saturday around lunchtime and it won’t be our last. The food was excellent!!. I had the shrimp po boy and curly fries. The bread was that perfect New Orleans style with the flaky top and the shrimp were fresh. Don’t forget to save room for the ice cream too. Honestly the best I’ve had in ages.
We were greeted by the friendliest young man at the register. He was so helpful in explaining everything when we mentioned it was our first time visiting. In an industry where you are often met with individuals that treat you as if you are inconveniencing them just by placing an order (I’m sure you’ve all experienced that) it was so nice to be met with such incredible kindness and enthusiasm. I wish I had caught his name to give him the recognition he deserves, but hopefully the owners will see this and let him know what an awesome job he’s doing.

Great place to eat and even watch a football game on the TV! The kids enjoyed the atmosphere and so did we. Very easy going.
The food was delicious! The fish and shrimp with okra was great. The burger looked incredible too.

Food was hot and fresh, made to order I ordered the roast beef with cheese fries and my husband had the Philly cheesesteak with onion rings we didn’t even make it out of the car before we finished our food everything was delicious you will not be disappointed support your locals. Also the guy who took our order was very nice and made sure everything was correct before he sent the order through. He also brought the food out to us once it was ready
