Fabulous pizza! Lots of toppings, and still had a crisp crust! The staff was super friendly too!

Nicely off the major highway, easy street parking. Placed order from the road. Pizza was piping hot when I arrived. (Sebastian had times it just right!) Got a large Hawaiian with plans to take it up to Seattle. But wanted to try the Pizza HOT so ordered a pint and got the hazy to try.
They also had huge rice crispy treats and chocolate chip cookies for three dollars apiece and when I say huge I mean they were the size of my hand expanded. For three dollars? That’s a no-brainer.
Liked the beers they were serving but loved the host Sebastian and his earthy friendliness.
Best part of the pie was the crust.

Absolutely Terrible Experience – Stay Away!
If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. The owner is one of the most disrespectful and unreasonable people I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve never seen someone yell at customers the way he does — literally shouting across the restaurant because we politely mentioned our order was wrong. Instead of fixing it, he argued and acted like it was our fault. Totally unprofessional.
The customer service here is by far the worst I’ve ever experienced. No one smiles, no one cares, and the whole place has this uncomfortable, tense atmosphere thanks to the owner’s attitude.
To make things worse, the food isn’t even good anymore. The pizza used to be decent, but now it’s soggy, greasy, and tastes like it’s been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. It’s clear they’ve stopped caring about quality altogether.
Save yourself the frustration — there are plenty of other pizza places around that actually treat customers with respect and know how to make a decent meal. This place is a disaster.

We had the BEST experience here! My daughter and son-in-law had just welcomed a new baby at the hospital across the street, and all she wanted was pizza. When we stopped in to order, they were closing and had run out of dough. Instead of turning us away, they went above and beyond—treating us to a celebration drink, making fresh breadsticks, and even surprising us with a pizza at no charge. Everything was absolutely delicious, but what stood out most was their kindness and incredible customer service. Thank you for making such a special moment even more memorable!

Only had 2 tables occupied when we came in. It took 43 min to bring a side salad and 1 hour and 36 min to bring pizza… toppings were not even or generous. Soda dispenser has 4 of the 6 not working.

Great eclectic place. Good pie, great crust, and lots of them (they don’t skip). The music was a bit loud for conversations and a smidgen inappropriate if there are kids around. But all in all a great place for a slice.

Unfortunately not very much like American Dream was. They did a very good job with the crust, which is quite close. But the pizza itself is very thick. I would only recommend it for someone who likes deep dish or “Chicago-style,” as it’s swimming in thick sauce.

Great pizza with amazing crust. The new owners gave the place a deep cleaning and it shows. It is a lot nicer in there now and the pizza is just the same as before. Keep up the great work!

Thank you owners and staff for bringing original dream pizza back! Ate there today and it was wonderful. The place still has that old school charm with some updates. Pizza was just like it used to be, garlicky butter crust, tasty sauce, cheesy and right amount of fresh toppings. Staff was welcoming and thankful for our business. You knocked it outta the park

The most original pizza spot in all of Portland. They are celebrating 30 years, this year! Freshly cooked 1 topping slice and a micro brew $7.50 from 8-Close. The decor is eclectic and truly “old Portland”. Slices are large, and the dough has a unique flavor, with twisted crust. Great space for a large party or just yourself.
