Too clucking slow.
The Wish on of fast food

I ordered the grilled cheese meal for $9.99 which came with a sandwich, potatoes and a drink. With two cars ahead I waited 25 minutes in drive through and an additional 7 minutes at the window.

And though I was asked what I wanted to drink, she forgot. I’m not sure if the small cup is what usually comes with the meal or she didn’t rember my order so she gave me a kids cup. I also ordered an 8 piece roasted chicken bites. I got the breaded instead. I didn’t have time to wait. My order cost 21.xx.

The camera filter on my phone makes the chicken look brighter and more appealing than reality. It’s maroon in color and dry. Approximately 1.5 chicken breasts of meat or 1 really large chicken breast. The heat is just there to be hot and otherwise a very plainly seasoned chicken.

Alright…. I’m not happy about this review but there is a lot that went wrong here tonight.

I sat in the drive thru for almost 5 minutes before someone came on the mic. There was a car in front of me at the window that just up and left because no one would take his order. Customer service left A LOT to be desired.

As pictured, I ordered a 3PC combo with Crinkle Fries and Original Clydes seasoning. Lets talk about that…

Chicken: Fresh. Nice hot and juicy tenders. Seasoning? One note and got boring really fast. I only finished the third one because I paid 16.99 for this, and wasnt going to waste what was essentially $5.

Fries: The saving grace of the whole box – good crunch and just the right amount of salt and seasoning.

Sauce: Better than Canes but thats about it. Nothing special.

Pickles: Meh. A really solid – Meh.

Drink: Just like Dave’s, they only have one cup size – not a fan. Especially when I saw cups in photos that were way bigger than the paper cup I got. The plastic cups were what I was expecting to get.

My wife wanted an Oreo shake but they ran out? Somehow sold the last one right before we got there. Weird. Are they pre-made and no one wanted to make another? Was around 2.5 hours to close, so sounded like they didnt want to make anything else.

Overall? This was my one and only time coming here. $5/chicken tender just is not a valid price point for what I got.

First time dining. I went out for lunch and everything was just as I asked for it.
Both the manager and the staff members were very polite
It didn’t take long for the food to be ready and it looked just like the pictures.
Flavour profile was great and it was hot
There was plenty of seating as I went here for a late lunch.
I highly recommend giving them a try over at the Fullerton location

I ate here a few days ago with a friend, honestly the waffle fries were wonderful, dont change thst recipe, so crispy throughout the meal and so perfectly seasoned. My only real gripe with the meal was the hot as cluck sandwich wasn’t spicy at all, I could taste a bit of seasoning but I was a little disappointed in that. Otherwise the sandwich was well cooked, the pickles and slaw went well with it. Would come again just to try 1930.

First at the drive thru speaker we were told the fountain machine wasn’t working and they couldn’t provide soda or water. Then we waited at the window for 16 minutes and when our food came out (a sandwich and fries) they shut the window on us without so much as a greeting or apology. Worst drive thru experience, second to the Diamond Bar Taco Bell!

When I order lemonade I look for the words, natural or real lemonade.
They usually costs more but it’s worth it, not to have to drink anything called a “lemon flavored beverage” or whatever other names they use. But the one at Clyde’s said simply, Minute Maid Lemonade so I ordered it. It was disgusting. I couldn’t even drink it. They have great food, prices & service. But they need to label their lemonade, whatever is in it. Cause it’s not lemonade.

For the price point of this place, I would suggest this to be a “Gourmet Fast Food ” experience. Only SPICY or hotter flavors live in this Entre menu…but that being said, I like the flavor profile. This was my second visit and so far it was still cook to order. A little wait for a great taste isn’t bad.

We actually sat outside this time. Tables were dirty, so I had to clean them myself. Food was ok. Husband did not like the slaw. I got chicken and waffles and taste was pretty good. The sauce is superb. We also got the lil clucker and it was very bland. The slushy wasn’t really tasty. The fries are good. It is on the expensive side, I’ll say. We went around 7pm and we waited about 25 mins for our food. Overall, would I come back? I will if I REALLY had to. It’s not like I’m dying to come back.

It’s pretty good. The original is sweet with a good kick. Theirs dipping sauce was really good. Shakes were ok. It was overall good. I wouldn’t necessarily called it Nashville style but it was good n boneless. If Cane’s ever did a spicy version, it would blow it out of the water, so until then.. there’s Clyde’s. Prices were fair I think and there was indoor and outdoor seating. Staff was nice on my visit.

if u wanna wait 40min plus for your food like you’re going to a restaurant instead of a chicken joint, then clyde’s is for you. dont get me wrong, the food is amazing and is worth the wait (most the time). but, the people that work there act like they wouldn’t cared if you died in the line waiting for your food. no rush from the workers to meet the demand of their amazing food, you’d think they were all high back there and they probably were.
