Established 2016 in Sarasota, we are a local pizza restaurant and bar. We offer traditional and specialty pizzas including cauliflower and gluten free crust, wings, salads, craft beer, wine and cocktails. We were voted best pizza and wings by SRQ Magazine and Herlad Tribune many years in a row. We do carry most tv sport packages including NFL.

We randomly walked into Origin Craft Beer & Pizza Cafe for lunch today. I have two words to summarize our food and service experience: “very impressed”. The place is very casual and relaxed. We did not try any beer this time. We had Siesta Sand pizza and chicken wings. Superb! Creative pizza toppings are delicious. Those naked chicken wings are probably the best ones that I have ever had. They were perfectly seasoned, flavorful, tasty but not salty at all. Our waitress was so precessional, cheerful and helpful. This is definitely a great food discovery for us to come back often.

Honestly so disappointed in what i received I will never be back. This was my first time trying this pizza place and I ordered a half pan Sicillian tonight to try them out which is advertised as thick crust. I got home and opened the box and I’ve never seen such a disappointing pizza. Not only was it thinner than my finger nail it was as hard as a rock. Please save your money and find a different pizza place.

First of all: thank you so much for being open the day after Hurricane Milton. We so appreciate your service and food! This was my first time here and it was so good!! We got the falafel platter and it was so crispy and perfectly seasoned. We got the meatballs to try — they were okay. My Italian Nana makes them homemade for me, so it’s hard to compare to Nana. Our main dish was a pizza! We got half cheese and half ricotta and pesto. PHENOMENAL!! It was so good. Everyone is super friendly. They were all warm and welcoming and constantly had a smile on their faces, given the circumstances. The service was fast and the food was great! I wasn’t a fan of the ranch, but I’m a self proclaimed ranch connoisseur and I won’t dock them for my pickiness LOL I prefer a homemade ranch over a restaurant style ranch. Anyway, GO HERE! Give them your business! You won’t regret it.

I had a gluten free cauliflower crust with red sauce, mozzarella, mushrooms, black olives and a swirl of pesto. As most gluten free crusts go, it was thin and mostly crunchy. Not Origin’s fault. But even after adding Parmesan cheese, I had to add salt. The pizza was OK, not sure if I’ll go back. So hard to find a good gluten free pizza that’s not like eating crunchy cardboard and being charged an arm and a leg for it.

Party of seven dined in on a whim Father’s Day Sunday this last week. Chelsea greeted us with a smile and a warm welcome. We ordered several appetizers; cheesy bread, wings and fresh cut fries and several pizzas. All our food was hot, fresh and made with high quality ingredients. The atmosphere was very enjoyable and calm. These guys are doing it right and with a smile! Thank you Origin for a lovely meal.

Good pizza, only slight critique would be that the onions weren’t cooked. Think they may have just thrown them on at the end. Also had a half order of wings, which were very tasty.

This is one of those places you just wanna go back to. After hearing about it for months from my good friends, I finally joined them for a visit back in December. The staff, the regulars, and the atmosphere were all fantastic… so much so that I’ve been back several times a month ever since! People know your name, the servers get to know what you like and they make fantastic recommendations as their selection of craft beers rotates. As for food: the sheer number of pizza options is amazing! If you like wings, try their “Trifecta” sauce—I haven’t had anything like it anywhere else. Go hang… you’ll always feel better when you leave!

Our first (of soon to be many) order was a calzone, siesta pizza with prosciutto, cheese pizza, Caesar salad, and Quinoa Tab’bouleh Salad. Everything was so good we had to force ourselves to stop eating.
The staff is super friendly! Oh and they have a wide variety of beers on tap.

Awesome pizza joint. The place is chill and they serve local beers from calusa. The pizza is thin crust and the toppings are very fresh. They have good happy hour specials and the wings are good too. What’s not to like?
