Established 2016 in Sarasota, we are a local pizza restaurant and bar. We offer traditional and specialty pizzas including cauliflower and gluten free crust, wings, salads, craft beer, wine and cocktails. We were voted best pizza and wings by SRQ Magazine and Herlad Tribune many years in a row. We do carry most tv sport packages including NFL.
Casual eatery serving pizza, stromboli, wings & craft beers in a modest space with multiple TVs.

Pizza dough is pre made factory dough thin as a pita. Toppings are just added and heated. Pizza is not pizza by any means. Food is served on paper plates. This place is really a lackluster sports bar. Service was warm, friendly although they didn’t ask why we left our mostly whole pizzas. If u want a small sports bar this place might be good for u. Outside of Italy, this is my favorite pizza place!! The toppings, the crust, and the flavors are all so delicious! have been 5 times now, and every time, the pizza has been excellent! My family and I have particularly enjoyed the ER (meat lovers), the Barber Shop, the breakfast pizza, and a grilled chicken and pepperoni pizza with hot wing sauce. The wing sauce is delicious too! In fact, I asked if it was available for purchase, but sadly it is not. I highly recommend this place if you are hunting a delicious meal, a nice variety of craft beer to choose from, great service, and a chill atmosphere!

We usually go in and have great food. Ordered online for pickup and were way over charged. A small cheese and a small mall (about the size of a dinner plate) and 5 wings was $53. Will eat here again but never ordering online.

Our friends that live in Sarasota recommended this pizza place as the best in town. We went to the original location and had awesome service and great pizza. The pizzas were so big we ended up having an unplanned feast! Everyone loved the crust and flavors. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Highly recommended for this location especially!

My husband and I stopped here to have lunch. He is a chicken wing lover and the bartender recommended their “trifecta” wings. This is a combination of buffalo sauce, bbq sauce, and garlic parm. They were delicious and the wings were huge! We also ordered a barber shop pizza. The crust was delicious! Fresh veggies, lots of toppings, and served hot! So good! They also have quite a selection of beers from small breweries.

I have been by this restaurant once before this most recent incident. I have had an iffy experience with customer service previously, and I continue to give the restaurant a chance because they have relatively good food, I like supporting small businesses, and I definitely understand if they are understaffed. Contrary to the previous incident, today’s was different. Today, at approximately 12:40 PM, I went into the restaurant as I was meeting my partner there. I stood in the waiting area for about five minutes and occasionally made eye contact with the bartender who was in and out of conversation with two people at the bar. The entire time I was standing in the restaurant, I was never acknowledged or told that someone would be with me in a bit. After standing there for about five minutes, I walked to the middle of the restaurant where the threshold from the sitdown area and the bar area is at and stood there for an additional two minutes, again without being properly acknowledged or seated. During this time, the phone rang, and the bartender answered the phone and proceeded to take an order from a caller, even though I had been standing in the restaurant waiting to be Acknowledged so that I could get a table for my partner and me outside. It was at this moment I decided it was best for me to leave the restaurant given the fact that I was blatantly being ignored. As a Black woman, it’s hard to say, if this was racially motivated, and if this is representing the values of the company or the individual worker(s) that blatantly ignored me for over seven minutes. This happened on a smaller scale, the previous time that I came into the restaurant; however, my partner who is law-enforcement, came into the restaurant after I was standing there being ignored for a couple of minutes. Once he entered the restaurant, we were promptly seated. The fact that this has happened two times now is not a coincidence. It’s very sad that I intentionally came to this restaurant and wanted to support a small business that has relatively decent food, and I cannot even get a seat in a restaurant that was not busy at all whatsoever. It was no one there besides 2 people at the bar, once of which left in the time that I was standing there. I will not be going back there and I caution anyone, especially someone that is a person of color, about spending money at Origins on Hillview.

Got a full order of wings with 2 different flavors, garlic parmesean and trifecta. Wings were charred and grilled to perfection. Nice size. Then we ordered the supreme pizza and added ham and pineapple. Tasted great. Awesome atmosphere. Attentive and nice easy going staff. Great music. Good late night spot for food and beers.
