A friend recently tried it while traveling through the area, and it was rather legit. A place I’ve passed right by many times over the years. I called in and placed an order for Thom Kha soup, Massaman Curry with beef, Pad Thai, and General Tso’s. All with 3 scoops of chili, figured that would cover the bases for a good litmus test. He told me 15-20 minutes. I arrived about 20 minutes after calling, he was working on finishing the order. This is when I learned it was a single man operation, and he was working hard. He was very kind, warm and welcoming, cheerful. I paid $52 for everything, said my thanks and headed home, excited and anxious to try it out. It was hard to resist pulling over for a quick simple.
I got home and laid everything out, everything was more than up to snuff, very generous portions. Rich flavors, definitely heavy use of fish sauce and seafood stocks, which is fine by me. The spice level was at a good medium, now I know to ask for more next time. For how much he prepared in that time, the quality and care was all there. The general tso’s is better than what I’ve had from most Chinese restaurants. All of the dishes had a generous portion of meat. Incredibly well priced for what you get. It’s a shame I had been sleeping on this place for so long, I will be a guaranteed frequent customer now.
Only “negatives” I can state: wait time, if you’re in a hurry call ahead, he’s a one man operation and puts care into what he makes. The dining room and waiting room are one space, so you won’t be able to have large party or anything of the sort in there. That’s really all I can say about it.

Ordered the Shrimp fried rice. Enough rice to choke a horse but only 4 Shrimp. They threw in 6 chicken wings that I wasn’t expecting but they were greasy and not that good. Not the worst Chinese food but not even average. I wouldn’t eat there again.
