I found the food to be pretty tasty. The lunch combo is a good deal. You choose shrimp, beef, chicken or pork with your choice of sauce. You can choose fried rice or white rice. You can choose egg roll, soup or soda! Nice size portion for $10.99! My only issue with them was my last order for pickup I ordered 2 combos. I wanted egg drop soup with both but when I got to work I had one soup and one egg roll! I phoned to let them know about their mistake. I was told to bring the egg roll back and I can get the soup! Really? I never would have thought they’d ask me to bring a dang egg roll back to get something that I ordered in the first place! I felt insulted! It would be the next day before I could get back to them. I was ordering a couple of times a week. I’m not going to say I won’t return because the food is pretty good. However, I’m going to stop patronizing for a while!

I went here yesterday with a few people for lunch on a work day for their lunch buffet. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was plentiful and delicious. The lunch buffet was about $15 which isn’t too bad considering they have variety of sushi rolls available.

Terrible experience, rude staff mocking me, food was ALL old and looked leftover from day before. Beef very rubbery. Staff did not like me taking pics, much of the food looked older than this pic. WILL NOT RETURN. Felt sick shortly after leaving. Very small plates, smaller than normal at buffets. People that go here don’t know good asian food evidently. I’ve been coming here for YEARS, used to be decent here, not anymore. Very crappy experience. Cashier was a smart ass too.

Very good food…. Some say the buffet is small and it is on the smaller size but it does have the most popular food selections. I would definitely come back

Recently oriental pearl on Sherwood has been consistently better than Hunan, which is across the street.
The best time is always after the first wave of diners have devoured the first batch of food, and the food is then replenished.
I don’t know if they are called vermicelli noodles, but the white noodles were excellent.
The sesame chicken was very good. The chicken on a stick was very good. The dim sum or pot stickers were good and had a pineapple soy dipping sauce to accompany it.
The hot and sour soup was good.
The garlic shrimp were excellent.
The beef as well as chicken dishes were good.
The salt and pepper shrimp were good.
The fried rice was a C. It could have used a little something. The presentation and freshness was there but it was missing that aromatic vibe that classic fried rice usually has.
I don’t like mayo sauce on my sushi, so I did not try any.
I consistently go to this location. The service is always great. The owner is always friendly, and the whole crew works hard. I will go back. Check them out when you are in the area.

We got there about 4PM. The ladies working were friendly. We had their buffet which had a good selection of dishes. The service was great and the food was fresh. The sushi also tasted freshly made and was going quick as they put it out. I recommend it if you are in the area.

Food not good. Everything was cold, soy sauce was extremely salty, taste was kinda bland & not a big selection. Disappointed & won’t be back.

I always love to go here if I’m in this area. The sushi is fresh, the string beans are fresh and very delicious All of their food is very very good and fresh. The staff is very nice! If you like Chinese and looking for a small buffet with good food, go to the Oriental Pearl! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed… Enjoy!!!

Short on staff. The sushi was bad (brown avocado, expired mayonnaise, bad fish – I was expecting to see maggots). The vegetables were old (the broccoli was cold and had congealed). The sesame chicken was okay (the only thing that was edible and I could stomach). The red, orange, and yellow jello desserts were hard on the bottom. The banana pudding was okay (also the only thing that I could stomach). The atmosphere is depressing and the “all you can eat” buffet is small. Would not recommend.
