I want to preface this by saying that this is not the first time I’ve been to this place, and when I used to go to this place around 2015, the food was actually pretty decent.Tonight: Absolutely horrified. The fried rice (which they tried to charge me extra for vegetables – who the heck does that?!?) was tasteless. The chow mein was just boiled wet cabbage and canned noodles. The orange chicken was beyond depressing. It was like they prepared the entire meal for a cheap retirement home for people allergic to spice. Do they ever taste their own food?! Yuck!

Friendly service, fair price, and the best we’ve found for Chinese so far in town.
However, the egg rolls were indistinguishable from frozen, the chicken with plum sauce had barely any chicken, the beef with oyster sauce was essentially gravy, and the rice might’ve been store bought microwaveable.
Was hoping with their not working weekends that an old traditional cook was keeping an easy retirement, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

The food is amazing. They give perfect quantity for a workday lunch. The curbside to-go service is the best because of friendly and active waitress. This should be your go-to place for ~$10 healthy lunch. Only caution is, call 15-20 mins ahead of your arrival.

Didn’t blow my expectations but the plate I ordered to go was good. I ate all of it. Either I was too hungry or the serving was smaller than other comparable restaurants. They have great daily specials. Vegetables are always fresh. My favorite special is Monday: Almond Chicken with an egg roll. It’s very delicious. FYI, After my initial review I noticed they are serving a little more food than before.

Average Chinese food in Las Cruces.
Nothing to brag about, but there are worst choices in our community.
The staff on the other hand are super friendly and very nice.
Average cost.
Your food comes in the traditional Chinese take out box, and is microwave safe. Unlike some other places here in town that serve in a Styrofoam clamshell box.
Still searching for best Chinese food in town.

The chicken fried rice was horrible. Chicken tasted very bad and the rice tasted like I was eating sink water. Chinese food is so spotty in this town and your better off going to a chain.

My wife and I have been hoping to find a good Chinese restaurant in town for a while and had yet to try this one. We were expecting nothing and still disappointed. We didn’t get our side of rice with our meals. The wontons were nothing but wonton wrappers. The egg rolls were soft and sweet. We have finally accepted that there is nowhere to get decent Chinese food in Las Cruces.

I’ve NEVER been to this restaurant even though Google says so LOL! It is one I’ve been meaning to try. I visit an office nearby LOL. I rated 5 stars in order to enable this comment box and because my Sister says this restaurant serves delicious food!

This is a very nice little hidden place. It’s a seat yourself place and that’s what I did when I arrived. There was what appeared to be the owner at the front when I entered and sat down. I sat there while the owner walked around looking for something and never acknowledge my presence. She then disappeared into the back and about 5 minutes later a young lady the waitress comes from the kitchen area and says she will be right with me. I’m not one for complaining but any staff member should greet everyone who walks thru the the door. I did order my regular chicken chow mein and it was very good. But the fact that I was completely ignored for the first ten minutes while in this restaurant makes me not want to go there again which I don’t think I will.
