I am a crab rangoon snob and until now haven’t been able to find any good ones. The one’s here are delicious! They actually have crab in them unlike all the other places that are nothing but cream cheese. Egg drop soup was hot and delicious and was served with a large amount of crispy noodles.
Egg rolls are home made and probably the best I’ve ever had.
I’ve only tried 3 entrées so far, but they’ve all been fabulous. The General Tso’s Chicken is freshly breaded and crispy with a delicious sweet and spicy sauce with just the right amount of kick.
The Orange Peel Chicken is the same fresh breaded crispy chicken covered in a spicy orange peel sauce. Very good.
I think the star of the show so far is the Bourbon Chicken. They take fresh grilled chicken and sauté it with onions, scallions and their homemade Bourbon sauce. Y’all the flavor on this dish is phenomenal. The owner said it’s one of her most popular dishes and I can see why.
Speaking of the owner, her name is Elaine. She works the front of the house while her husband mans the kitchen. She’s a very sweet lady who takes great care of her customers. She will make sure you don’t need anything and constantly checks on you. She takes great pride in her restaurant and it shows.
Almost everything here is fresh and homemade. They have daily lunch specials or you can make any small dish a combo for $1.50 which adds fried rice and choice of eggroll or soup. Don’t let the “small” size fool you, the portions are huge.
Always being nervous about trying new places, we don’t venture out from our normal rotation, but today, I’m so glad we did.
Anywhere we go, if they have crab rangoon, it’s getting ordered. Here, you can actually tell there is crab in it and not just cream cheese. We also ordered the egg drop soup and some egg rolls. The egg rolls were hot, fresh, and home made, and delicious. The soup was good as well.
Now on to mybentree. I had the Bourbon Chicken with scallions and onions in a spicy bourbon sauce. I decided on this dish based on other reviews and so glad I did.
The portions were huge and the prices were great. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Elaine, who was also our server. Her husband is in the kitchen and it’s just a small family owned business. She was amazing.
It was all around a fantastic experience and we can’t wait to go back.
For $18 I think it was expensive for what I received. Because they were so busy I will give them another try sometime in the future, and perhaps a better rating.
Everything was perfect and they added some items on the house.
Staff was exceptionally nice, even walked out to the car and helped load the food in.
Definitely recommend!
The staff here are not only attentive but exceptionally friendly, with a special shout-out to the woman who made our dining experience truly delightful. Her warm demeanor added an extra layer of charm to the place.
Now, let’s talk about the food. The pricing is just right for the incredible portions served. It’s rare to find a place that strikes the perfect balance between quality and affordability, but this restaurant has nailed it. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and the menu offered a delightful variety that satisfied every craving.
I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone in Greer or passing through. It’s the kind of spot that turns a forgetful moment into a memorable find. I’ll definitely be returning to explore more of their menu. Kudos to the entire team for creating such a wonderful dining experience!
