I went through the drive thru yesterday afternoon. I ordered the 2 pc fish dinner. Pulled up and waited 5 minutes for my order. The frozen cocoa concrete was spectacular as well. Food was perfect. Service was great and quick.

I’ve been coming to this location since it first opened. On my very first visit, a kids’ meal was missing from my order. Considering how busy they were due to the opening, I wasn’t upset. I called, spoke with a woman who took my name, and was told I could come back to get it replaced.

When I returned, the male manager said he had no idea what I was talking about and made me feel as though I was being dishonest or trying to get free food — over a $7 kids’ meal. He eventually replaced it, but the interaction felt dismissive and uncomfortable.

Since opening, the fries at this location have consistently tasted stale and off — like old or improperly stored frozen potatoes. I visit other Culver’s locations regularly and do not have this issue elsewhere. After months of operation, this ongoing quality issue is concerning and unpleasant.

Last week, we ordered lunch again, including another kids’ meal for my son. While eating his hamburger, he showed me something inside that looked like a toenail. The following day, I brought the burger and item back in the original bag. Unfortunately, the same manager immediately said, “This is ridiculous,” and again implied that I was making it up to get free food. He argued and yelled at me outside in front of several other people.

I have never experienced this level of dismissal or hostility from a fast-food restaurant. It’s disappointing and reflects poorly on the location in Mahomet. The regular employees, however, have always been kind and professional — I genuinely feel bad that they have to work under this management.

My recommendation: visit the Culver’s in Champaign instead. The difference in food quality and customer service is noticeable.

My experience at Culver’s was nothing short of exemplary, and it compels me to offer a commendation of unusual enthusiasm and sincerity. In an era in which service within the quick-service dining sector often gravitates toward mechanical efficiency at the expense of genuine human engagement, this particular establishment distinguishes itself with an extraordinary caliber of hospitality that is both deliberate and deeply compassionate.

From the moment of arrival, the atmosphere conveyed an unmistakable ethos of attentiveness and professionalism. Each member of the staff conducted themselves with a level of courtesy and composure that suggested not merely adequate training, but a deeply internalized commitment to service excellence. Their demeanor was not perfunctory or transactional; rather, it reflected an authentic regard for the customer experience. The staff’s interactions exhibited a rare synthesis of efficiency, warmth, and conscientiousness—an equilibrium that is seldom achieved with such consistency.

What impressed me most profoundly was the unmistakable presence of compassion embedded within even the smallest gestures of service. The employees did not merely fulfill their duties; they demonstrated a thoughtful attentiveness that communicated respect and genuine care. In a setting where speed often eclipses sincerity, this establishment has managed to cultivate an environment in which both coexist harmoniously. Orders were handled with precision and promptness, yet never in a manner that felt rushed or impersonal.

The operational coordination among the staff further deserves commendation. There appeared to be a seamless orchestration of responsibilities, suggesting a culture of mutual respect and collective accountability behind the scenes. Each individual seemed keenly aware that their contribution was part of a broader commitment to excellence, and the result was a dining experience marked by remarkable fluidity and professionalism.

Such service is not merely pleasant; it is admirable. The level of compassionate care demonstrated here elevates the entire experience beyond the expectations typically associated with a fast-casual restaurant. It reflects a philosophy of hospitality that is both dignified and humanistic, reminding patrons that exceptional service is not solely about efficiency, but about the cultivation of respect, kindness, and genuine attentiveness toward others.

In summary, the service I encountered at this Culver’s stands among the most outstanding examples of customer care I have personally observed. The professionalism, empathy, and integrity displayed by the staff deserve the highest recognition. It is rare to encounter a team so evidently devoted to the well-being and satisfaction of those they serve, and their efforts merit both admiration and gratitude.

Mahomet is definitely one of the newer Culvers, and is doing a great job. I lived in Wisconsin for 29 years, so I definitely know the Culvers way. I want to give a huge compliment to your employee Mia.
As, soon as we walked in Mia had a sweet smile and kind personality. She brought our food to us, visited with us, took our tray and threw away our garbage and brought us our custard. She really us a jewel of an employee, and she made our dining experience delightful. This happened the Sunday before Thanksgiving. I truly value great customer service and yummy food. Thanks for the great experience Mahomet Culvers!

Food was mediocre, service was a bit rough. Couldn’t understand my order very well, then didn’t accept my birthday custard coupon, then I said it’s fine, I don’t need it. They still charged me and I didn’t receive it! Disappointing Culver’s experience.

Arrived on Friday 12/12/25 at 10pm or maybe a minute before. No one came across drive up speaker to tell me they closed. So I pulled up to the window, employees simply refused to acknowledge me and come over to explain they were closed. They clearly saw me, so finally I reached out to knock on the window. A mgr. then came over to explain they closed at 10.
I’m not sure what training the employees receive in communication and basic common sense, but it definitely should be improved.
I continued on my way to Champaign and went to the Culver’s there, as it is open until 11pm.

In a world of drive thru atmosphere, the dine in experience here is a little treat. Everyone is so helpful and kind, they even have had trivia nights on occasion. Having little kids and feeling comfortable having them be able to grab a utensil or condiment without being scared and attending to your other is a small town comfort that is rare.

I was really disappointed with my visit to Culver’s tonight. I’m diabetic and asked if I could have my drink cup first because my blood sugar was dropping, but the employee told me, “You’ll get your drink when it’s ready.” That response felt dismissive, especially given my situation.
Unfortunately, my order also had several mistakes. I didn’t receive my cheese curds, and my cheeseburger was made plain even though I ordered it with the works (no onions). I understand that mistakes can happen, and I don’t expect perfection. However, a simple apology and an effort to correct the issues would have gone a long way.

I hope this feedback helps improve future experiences.
