Now don’t let the Atmosphere fool you this place is a gem hidden. This establishment is also a mom and pops so yea they can use the funds to upgrade but it gets the food done and to your plate. I honestly will be back for more. The portions are great for the price and also try the egg rolls they are pretty fulfilling.

They give good size portions. The thing you should try if you do come here is the House Chicken. I don’t really come here anymore to be honest because I’ve just found so many strands of human hair in my food way too many times!!! It’s not funny and I get very sick from just the thought of hair in my food it’s happen way to much so I just don’t take the risk anymore it was getting to the point to every time I would get food here. It’s mostly always the noodles too. Also sometimes taste like the dishes they cooked the food in was not clean when they used it. I will spend my money some where else from now on .

Great portions double what you get at panda, prices have gone up a bit but honestly in this economy it’s hard to get a good size plate of food for 10$! Taste wise you get that good family owned Chinese restaurant taste!

This place been here for years since I was a lil boy I always came here and still do once in a while now the orange chicken is my favorite as well as the house chicken and the 5 flavored chicken with chow main or steamed rice they also always hook it up

Food just OK. Atmosphere awful. Junk piles around restaurant. Boxes, stuff covered in old green garbage bags,… I came at 3:30 when only 1 other person was in restaurant. One employee talking loudly on phone in Chinese for a while. Several tables and chairs not clean. Windows dirty. Cash only. Three items (one must be rice or chow mein) is $7.06 so you end up with a pocket full of change. Sticky soy sauce bottle on table. Dirty hot sauce bowl. Hot sauce wasn’t hot. No beef dishes. I had broccoli chicken and cashew chicken. There wasn’t a single cashew in cashew chicken. I don’t understand how anyone can give 5 stars. 3 stars for food, 0 stars for cleanliness and atmosphere. Food was OK, although greasy, but very hard to enjoy in awful atmosphere!

They do not make their food fresh. They make everything all at once and have it sitting there all day instead of making it fresh once whatever is done is done. There will be like 4 trays of chowmein just sitting there. You could tell the meat is leftover from the previous day because it is hard. The old lady handles the food and cash with the same gloves on. I used to come here twice a month maybe 3 times. They close at 9 but stop making anything IF they make anything at all around 7. Too bad they don’t make their food fresh like at panda express because if they did, it would be great….

Yesterday was the 1st since post covid. Disappointed at all. The BBQ pork was worst than a Jerky & it seems to me as a repeat from the previous day. Flavors from the chowmein & veggies were also thumbs down. Since I was in the area, I returned the combo that I bought, didn’t get anything back. I lost $11!!!

This place will fix your fast Chinese food cravings, price is reasonable, big portion, and quality of food is mediocre. Jade China on monterey rd has uses good ingredients tastes more authentic, but the price is also a lot more and they have a larger variety of Chinese dishes then your typical Chinese food joint. Jade China has a variety of meat for their chow fun, fried rice, and chow mein and they got the best deals on party trays.

This place have been open for over 25 years. Been buying food here since the late 90s. The portions are great for an affordable price. The one thing that I keep coming back is there House Chicken. If you want house chicken this place is great. The owners are also friendly. It’s good that original owners are still there. Been my to go place for affordable Chinese place. Try them and you will not be disappointed.
