First time here and to say the food and experience was ok but nothing great or remembering.
Got the chicken karaage which was ok but bland. Dipping sause was just mayo and that was it.
The tonkasu ramen was meh
Noodles: Trust me you had them before. There ok but not above normal quality.
Broth: Very lacking. No body, character or another great.
Pork: It was ok, but was cold.
Egg: Good quality creamy egg but not ages or seasoned.

Really happy about this edition to the SV restaurant landscape! Daughter is a Ramen enthusiast and very much enjoyed her tonkotsu, her father said his unagi donburi was delectable, and my bulgolgi donburi was delicious! The kimchi was good, as well. Can’t remember the last time we ate at a sit-down restaurant, had wonderful food and drink, and it was less than $20 per person! Will absolutely be returning often.

We heard about this place rebranding. That they offer ramen instead now and have other dishes available like rice bowl (donbury). They have other appetizer options too!
Someone sang alot of praises about how delicious the ramen is. I’d have to say, I’m dissapointed in the ramen. I came in with very high expectations, and was let down.
==========
What we ordered: Tonkatsu Ramen, Tori Paitan Ramen, Curry Croquette, and Beef Dumplings
==== (Ramens heavy on tare, oil & garlic)====
(Tonkatsu Ramen) was lacking the delicious rich bold flavor I’m accustomed to. It was more like a thin, plain broth suitable for a beef soup rather than ramen. The chasu was similar to deli meat and didn’t have the fatty umami flavor most chasu does. Eggs were cooked and flavored well. The other toppings and noodles were good.

(Tori Paitan Ramen) was OK the broth wasn’t terrible but felt like it was missing something. The chicken in this ramen was actually a bit cold like they threw it in right from the fridge I refused to eat further than the cold bite I took. The noodles and veggies were good.
=======
(Beef Dumplings) & sauce were good, crispy outside moist yummy inside.
(Curry Croquette) crispy , yummy and topped with a delicious amazing umami filled sauce with a teeny yummy side salad to cut the rich flavor from the croquettes and sauce.

The staff was AMAZING, attentive, and kind. Thanks for having such amazing staff. The experience was quiet as we joined as soon as they opened for the day.
I look forward to the croquettes again, but can’t say the same for the ramen.

First time since the restaurant was converted to Ramen

Wsut staff was understaffed apparently absentees.

Long time to order.
No options given for spice levels.
Only one beer available on the menu. Everything else was out.

When the Ramen arrived, portion was generous. Ordered the deluxe with several soft-boiled eggs. Lots of seaweed lots of pork cutlet.

Unfortunately the flavor was quite bland locking salt and spice.
Looking at the custom form on the table they offered low, medium and high spice.

We ordered chili sauce and chili oil to try to enhance the flavor but success was limited.

I’ve had ramen on and off for many years including Tokyo, San Mateo and Cupertino.

I got to say this was some of the worst ramen I’ve had.

Quality ingredients seemed okay but there was just no flavor in the pork bone broth above and beyond lack of spice.

Sorry to write this disappointing review but hot off the press.

It’s alright, which honestly was a lot better than I expected and that’s fine for a ramen place in Scott’s Valley of all places. 16 for a bowl is fair for this quality.

The noodles were great, the tare is a little light on normal so go heavy, questionable chashu, rest of it was a-okay!

Worst Karage I ever had in my life though why was it sweet like it had sugar in it

The quality of the service and food here is impeccable! I almost ate myself into a coma the ramen, seaweed salad, and spiced cucumber I ordered were absolutely incredible! The quality as well of the speed of service and interactions with staff were top notch and they take dietary preferences/allergies/intolerances very seriously! If you are in the valley and you are looking for a place for good ramen, then definitely pay this place a visit!

Horrible customer experience and even worse food. It took about five minutes to be seated despite the restaurant being roughly 10% full, with no one ahead of us. Once seated, it took approximately 15 minutes for our server to come over and take our order. After ordering, we waited another 20 minutes for the ramen to arrive.

When the food finally came out, the broth was lukewarm, and the eggs were not fully cooked through. The bowl itself was very hot while the broth was not, which strongly suggested the dish had been reheated rather than freshly prepared. I asked for my ramen to be heated up; the waitress initially refused, but eventually the chef came out and agreed. When the dish returned, it was finally hot, but the broth had a strange texture and taste, the meat was unpleasant, and the eggs were still undercooked.

There were no spices, condiments, or seasonings on the table to add to the ramen. Throughout the entire meal, the server never came back to check on us, and we were never offered water refills—which is especially frustrating when eating ramen. Instead, the waitress spent most of the time sitting at the bar helping her kids with homework.

My girlfriend refused to eat most of her dish. We ate what we could, knowing we were already committed to spending around $50.

While being seated, I asked if this restaurant had the same owners as Far East Kitchen, the previous restaurant in this location that ultimately failed. It is the same ownership. While the location itself is nice, the ownership and staff clearly do not understand how to run a restaurant.

We will not be returning. We were genuinely excited to have a new ramen restaurant so close to where we live, but the experience was extremely disappointing.
