Orejano is a family owned and run business that takes great care and pride in their craft (serving flavorful Uruguayan cuisine).

The atmosphere and hospitality of this place is always good. The staff are always smiling and chatting with patrons. There is almost always football on and the decorations in the restaurant are very cool too.

The food is always fresh and hot, the sandwiches and empanadas are both worth trying. The time estimates they give on takeout orders is always accurate too.

If you wanna try something flavorful and tasty on the very first bite you need to try this place. This restaurant is relatively new but you can tell when a restaurant has a soul and this one for sure has it !
Emapanas 10/10 !!! And the classic beef chivito was amazing! I’ll be back to try the milanesa
Definitely recommend

Orejano has a fun menu, with lots of empanada options and favors in addition to their sandwiches! I ordered 3 empanadas and the total cost was around $16.

We ordered with a large table (~8 people) and the food came out in a reasonable time.

The restaurant is a bit small inside, tables mainly seat 4 people but we were able to get two tables in the back pushed together & have our whole party sit.

The servers/staff were super friendly and answered any question we asked.

I was shocked this restaurant has 4 months opened. I ordered 2 chicken empanadas and 1 alfajor (I forgot took a picture but it was great) and those were delicious and fresh. Marcelo and Grisel provided a great service, they’re too lovely. Also the guasaca or the green sauce is amazing.

Wow! Damn! OMG!
Just some of the words that came out of our mouths when trying different empanadas from the menu, each one of them were delicious! We also tried the Chivito sandwich and it didn’t disappoint either! So much flavor in all their food.
Restaurant is very clean and family run by some very friendly owners! Definitely authentic.
We went back again for lunch a few days later because we were only in town for a couple days and had to have their food again!

I never expected an Uruguayan restaurant to open in the Denver area but here we are! I had to give it a try and I must say it was fabulous. Very friendly service (the owner even came and talked to us–super nice) and great food. I tried some empanadas with s spicy sauce on the side and it totally hit the spot. I will definitely be returning!

Orejano is the kind of spot that makes you want to cancel your other dinner plans. The empanadas are incredible — we tried steak jalapeño, lamb, chorizo, spinach, ham & cheese, and blue cheese, and honestly, every single one was a hit. The crust is perfect, and the fillings are flavorful and creative.

We also loved the Milanesa de Carne Napolitana (breaded steak layered with ham, cheese, and fried egg) and the Chivito Orejano (a grilled steak sandwich stacked to the heavens). Dessert was just as impressive — the chajá cake with peaches, dulce de leche, and meringue was a standout.

Marcelo and the team bring Uruguayan roots and global flavors with so much heart. A must-visit on Havana Street.

If you love South American food but never tried Uruguayan food this is the place to come. Marcelo is the store owner he is a wonderful person and cook. Greets you with incredible service and takes the time to know you and explain what Uruguayan food is all about. The empanadas is a must dish to try when you’re there. I got the chivato steak sandwich is delicious. Love this place !!!!

Based on the high reviews I was really looking forward to trying the empanadas, but unfortunately, while they were good, they weren’t great. You can tell they make them fresh and homemade, but they were lacking filling. I bit into one and it seems to have just a tiny amount of ham and cheese, and the rest of it was just a giant air pocket. For the price, I was hoping the filling would be a bit more substantial. I would be willing to try it again, but i was left a little underwhelmed. Flavor was good though. Service was also good.

We absolutely loved the breakfast empanadas from Orejano! Maria and Marcelo were amazing! So friendly and attentive, and their customer service is top-notch. We catered them for our resident breakfast event at The Gild Apartments, our new community, and everything was delivered right on time. The empanadas (sausage, bacon & egg, and ham & cheese) were all delicious, and the variety of salsas was a perfect touch. All of our residents enjoyed them, and we truly appreciate the quality, care, and service. We look forward to many more events with Orejano in the future!
