We stopped by at Orange Hill Restaurant on our way to our upstate destination by chance. I have not been this pleasantly suprised by a spot ever. We ordered steak, lamb rack and a salad. When the food arrived the presentation looked like someone put a lot of care into it albeit somewhat cozy old fashioned. But then every bite tasted so amazing. The service staff was so polite and attentive. The prices for what we got in terms of the flavor and the quality was so good. I think even not on a road trip this place is worth the drive. I know my review is above and beyond positive. But I promise its not a fake review. Amazing suprise!

We have dined here twice, and each time has been terrific! The service is prompt and attentive without being invasive. The wine is good and a nice size pour. We have had the cauliflower and warm caprese appetizers, and wow, they do not disappoint!! Among the three of us, we have had the salmon, mango chicken, lamb chops, and chicken Milanese for dinners. All have been prepared very well, tasted delicious, and the presentation is artful and visually pleasing. These dishes all had a great amount of flavor and the portion size is generous. Across our two visits, we have had the crème brûlée trio, affogato, cappuccino ice cream, and poached pears for dessert. So. Much. Flavor!!!!
The ambiance is nice, with a fireplace in one room, comfortable chairs, and tasteful decor. Prices are reasonable. The staff is exceedingly kind, polite, and wants your meal to be the best. Orange Hill is quickly becoming our go-to place when visiting a family member in the area. Thank you so much for two wonderful meals! I’ll be having my leftover chicken Milanese and pesto penne tonight!

Excellent restaurant that deceivingly looks like a diner from the outside, but the atmosphere and service are anything but on the inside. The food was excellent. I highly recommend the cauliflower critters and bacon brussel sprouts for appetizers. The salmon, steak and risotto were all amazing. The desserts were also wonderful, and we had some great drinks. I will definitely come back, this is now one of my favorites in Newburgh, for sure.

Had a great experience at Orange Hill, and a big part of that was thanks to Sam, our server. He was attentive without hovering, super knowledgeable about the menu, and made the whole night feel smooth and relaxed. Drinks were on point, timing was perfect, and he genuinely made us feel taken care of.
If you’re dining here, ask for Sam — he knows what he’s doing. We’ll definitely be back.

Had a wonderful meal with my dad today at Orange Hill. Comfortable atmosphere with attractive decor. We started our meal with calamari and shrimp served with a tasty sauce. We ate fish (salmon and swordfish) for our main entree that was cooked with delicious spices and served with eggplant and potatoes. Restaurant also has a large variety of drinks. Our server, Sam, was attentive and pleasant! Thank you for a wonderful meal on Valentine’s Day!

Reddy our server was an amazing and accommodating server. He made sure at every course that was served that everything came out to our liking. The manager was always available and within eyesight and was active on the floor. The food was presentable and delicious. This was the second time I’ve been here and both times didnt disappoint. I brought my Wife, to Orange Hill For her Birthday yesterday ! We enjoyed the food exquisitely prepared food! The staff were all friendly and quick! Especially our Waiter Gilifton ! The manager stopped in to make sure we were having An excellent time and the food was to our liking. This isn’t the first time here! We love the food! And the ambience makes for a romantic Or special dinner. We had pineapple mai tai. They were delicious. We had Arancini deliciously crunchy with meat. We had fried shrimp and squid delicately fried with the delicious side sauce Beautifully decorated both dishes. For the entrées, we had shrimp and scallops and mushroom Risotto! The short rib was absolutely delicious with the polenta! But what made it super Special, My wife told the waiter that today was her birthday and he came back with a beautifully crafted dessert for her, even though she was full! She was happy, thank you Orange Hill, and staff for making our day complete and very enjoyable ❤️

The food was absolutely fantastic! We both had wings and they were meaty and delicious and cooked perfectly. I had the salmon which was delicious and the accompaniments with the salmon a beautiful combination. I would never think to put those things together, but they were phenomenal. My husband had the beet salad, which was delicious and fresh. Definitely coming back! Also, very excited about their brunch menu
